  1. 1 It's Party Time!
  2. This makes me excited, very excited. I'm so glad they've finally got the trains ready.
  3. Bobblejaan does look quite a bizarre place, but that dark ride though sounds fairly good. I guess it's not just thorpe, chessie etc. cutting their hours then. That Rapids element looks interesting, shame it no longer works (and probably never will), it interests me how they installed a second route to avoid using that.
  4. Shame the park is only closing at 5pm for weekends before Fright Nights, but I guess during this time it's much quieter being the transition between the busy summer season and bustling Fright Nights. The 4pm closings after Fright Nights don't surprise at all, but it's strange how the park won't be open on the second weekend of November now yet is still open on the week days (up to the 6th) considering it'll probably be much quieter then. I just hope 2016 is a much better season for the park (or Merlin overall)

Makes me happy that Swarmy is still your number one (yet it astounds me X is still there just). Despite being very impressed with Space Mountain on my last DLP trip (missing it in April), I won't be updating my top 10's just yet until I do Efteling in November.
  6. I'm going today 1

Looks promising stuff so far, that circus tent in the previous page looks very good, hopefully it looks like this maze will be quite well themed despite its location. I'm excited for this new maze (though it's a shame Studio is gone for good).
  8. Part 3 of the Disneyland Paris TPM Vlog/trip is now up for you all to enjoy. In this instalment, the adventure concludes featuring an active but emotional farewell to the series. Part two has also been re-uploaded [for the third time] due to some issues with the Let It Go segment, which has limited availability of the video [and may well need to be sorted again]. Let the claimant go Disney! For some reason, these blogs have been quite hassling to edit, in the way it almost feels like I'm trying to build The Smiler.
  9. Well if it's anything like Helix or Blue Fire, that is a possibility, but we will have to wait and see, 'speculation'. Very big emphasis on the 'could beat'.

Cant believe I've just realised Premium holders have to pay £1 to reserve park tickets each visit. Shame First plastic bags, now this, what's next?
  11. Just wait until 2017 though at PBP, if everything rumoured so far is correct, we will have another fantastic big coaster in the UK (one that could even knock Nemy off the top spot for some). Tbh Blackpool & Disney Sea are both different parks in many ways. Disney Sea offers highly immersive and experiences and theming (that tower of terror, drools) whilst Blackpool is more of a interesting selection of new and old rides. Most of the coasters there are actually pretty good.
  12. Valhalla is an amazing ride and this doesn't surprise me one bit. Would like to see where Chiapas went on that list though.
  13. Yayyyyyyy! Roll on TPM going to the best park in the world next year! mC16
  14. Nah, I'm at Legoland today
  15. Well if the new ride turns out to be anything like that picture, we may find ourselves rather disappointed.
  16. Thanks for another highly interesting report Ben. Mirabilandia looks an impressive park with its rides such as Katun, ispeed snd shows, Al Piopi sounded insane yet amazing at the same time, especially with that giant butterfly coaster. Etna looks a loverly place as well. Shame a lot of these Italian parks are very difficult to get to (sounds like they make getting to Europa very easy). Where would you rate the park's from the whole trip in terms of favourites?

The way Rattlesnakes gone this year, they might as well just get a new ride/coaster. Though it's an ok ride with half decent theming, it's arguable that it's throughput is too low for a park as busy as Chessington. Places like Pleasurewood Hills are fine as they receive a much smaller attendance (bench Marbles fitting there perfectly).
  18. Well at least there was one in positive on the trip then. I've always found Chessington in the past to be a magical atmospheric place, but it does seem rather lacking this year for sone reason, whether that's because of removed theming, mixed operations and closed rides who knows. It feels for the first time, Lego & Thorpe have more atmosphere this year then Chessie. I'm going back for Halloween, but only to try out the new mazes plus night rides in addition to having never been then.

That's a shame, hopefully he wasn't in too much pain when he went. What a sad day for the zoo, strongly remember seeing a dominant male Lion on previous visits to the park, so that must've been him. Poor Ashok.
  20. It looks nice, but it's not quite Baron! Layouts a bit meh tbh, even OTBH's layout's more inspiring.

Colossus really does have the worst trains at a UK merlin park and always seems to be the worst at dispatching at the park because of this. Would love to see them add some new lap bar style ones, even those of a similar style to Cinicitta World (sp) in Italy would be a big improvement. Ive always wondered whether it's possible to replace trains on an intamin coaster with Mack ones? If they could, that would be absolutely brilliant.
  22. RE-uploaded part 1 of the TPM Disneyland Paris Vlog [following some sync problems on the previous version]. https://youtu.be/RQB4hiZJU0A I've also gone for more a sitcom opening/setting for this one which I hope this series of Vlogs will be one of the funniest yet.
  23. Ok, flights & hotel now booked for Efteling, I'm going out lunchtime on friday the 6th and returning night time on Sunday the 8th November which will give me two days at the park. with park closings at 6pm and a 'lively' predicted busyness, what's the best thing to do in the evening? is there anywhere worth seeing in Eindhoven or Tilburg on the friday and would eating at the hotel [NH Waalwijk] be suggested for day one. Ticket wise thinking of going for the $44 euro one which offers free souvenir, paninni and 30 mins extra entry over the 34 euro one, is that a good idea? What's the best way to get prepared to see the Aquanora show? Also, is this true unlike most other major theme parks, the time the park closes is the actual time they stop running the rides [instead pf just closing the queue?] what's the best things to do at the start and end of days?
  24. I do think restricting Premium holders until September and barring Standard Pass Holders hasn't done them any favours and could be one of the reasons why numbers haven't been as good as they expected.

The attention to detail and additions here are highly exciting for such a small park. Paul tons seem to be on their way to a winner there.
