Well I didn't see this coming old Rammy getting broken down to the degree that ride may no longer be able to operate in its current form. On the positive note, least no one got hurt. I'm so glad I was able to go on it at the Chessie meet especially as the ride's future is now uncertain.

Hi All, better late than never but here's my video of the exciting trip we had to Thorpe that day featuring numerous ride shots and the adventures that took place during the day. Enjoy.

Chessington have now added a ride status page on their web saying which rides have normal operation and which ones are closed. http://www.chessington.com/plan-your-trip/ride-status.aspx Although there doesn't seem to be much change from last time, it states Mine Train is closed for refurbishment with no apparent opening date yet. Could this be a sign for more rides being down for refurbishment in the future?

I shall also be there during the whole day to join in the fun of the adventure before ERT.

Sounds a very interesting ride and experience there. Isn't there a ride though in one the six flags called acrophobia where the seats tilt or something but none the less looks very interesting ride there.

I would like to see an area for past rides, review area and also more media and interactive stuff.

Wow, I had one fanboy meets everything else dream last night where I was essentially at Alton Towers with TPM and going around the areas and for some reason, I had to play a piano in the towers Chappell or something (Iam a pianist and also do something similar for my job) and then lost track of TPM. When I almost found TPM again which I was now in the Dark Forest, another group of people I know (from my community play) suddenly appeared and distracted me from the group. I forget what else happened but I surely woke up not long after. Call it weird or random but that's pretty much my fanboy/weird/clashing dream where I'm at towers and many things happen at once.

Yeah, the giant hose feature was used when I went on the ride last a week and a bit ago at the mini meet where it was turned on. It got me and everyone else onboard soaked.

Double Post but its been at least a week. In terms of the most missed rides at Thorpe, here's the final results. The winner of the poll was Wicked Witches Haunt with 11 votes is officially the greatest missed Thorpe ride. The ride held great nostalgic memories to many people including myself in which the ride was greatly themed. It's a great pity the fire destroyed this ride because if it aren't, there would be an extremely high chance the ride would still exist however it would most like like tomb blaster but with ghosts and the like. The Flying Fish (original) was voted second and though shrubbery is now noticeably better on the new one it is still not near as amazing as it was on the old with its head choppers, fountain and arguably better looking train also. Other is the third popular answer with variants including Space Station zero and a various mixture. Fungle Safari, Tropical travels, Calgary Stampede,Octopus Gardens and Bumperboats received no voters but that doesn't mean they're not missed as at least two of those are believed to be missed by many and without these removals we would have Inferno, Samurai or StormSurge ( :/) at the park.
