Fright Nights 2015
Consult all of section 11 which states that they can charge for this with no breach. Whilst normally these situations are too vague and they would never hold up in court fright nights is given as a specific example and so they are completely covered.

Fright Nights 2015
Section 11.5 allows them to charge for fright nights for all types of passes. Along side this there is also section 11.1 which allows to charge a booking fee for anything they want. Saying that what they are doing is wrong. Yes it is only a pound but the point still stands.

Project WC16 - New for 2016
That £36 million waste of money in Brighton is called the i360 and has no relation to Merlin Entertainments. That is the only thing on earth I hate more than RnR so as a precaution I'd avoid mentioning it before I go off in a mega rant.

Project WC16 - New for 2016
Doubt its wc16 related. Could be airs new name or something completly unrelated. Unless it confirms thorpes space themed glamping.

Those silver things are the same thing that support the curved inside wall. I think that they will just be supporting a wall for the upper level.

Park Operations
Went today as my last time before I move to Wales with some come back for £10 voucher and I have to say it was a nice end to my era at Thorpe. Operations were good. Slammer slow as usual but not an issue. Everything else was getting through the crowds well.

Park Operations
Swarm had a restraint issue so one had to be removed.

I don't think there is any ride system in place at the moment in time. Currently it's all the building and the inner walls.
-
Project WC16 - New for 2016
So not a simulator. Some kind of tracked thing. It's obvious when you see it in person because of where the inner walls are.

Project WC16 - New for 2016
It does seem to have excessive bracing. That could just be there to maximise the space inside. To reduce the number of support pillars inside you get that sort of beam structure.

Rita
They are used in evacuation procedures to make sure all the restraints don't go up at once. As on the intamin trains you cant release individual seats, it has to be all of them at once.

Bubbleworks
Its having to run at reduced capacity due to low water level. The cause for the low water level is unknown to me.

Project WC16 - New for 2016
All we are trying to do is find out what links a dark secret, a Victorian perfume bottle, minds wanted and a run down brick warehouse. It could be doctor who although I don't think it is. I think it could be minds are wanted to uncover what happened in the past at this warehouse with Jack the ripper or something/someone similar. So the whole ride is based on you trying to find out the secret he has hidden.

How Busy Is It Going To Be?
The 5th and 6th of September is an interesting one. Most schools go back on the 3rd and I know not many people go to theme parks in the first weekend back. So that weekend is tough to call. There is also a death week coming up where schools are heavily discounted. Normally its towards the end of September or early October where I would call it moderately busy rather than very quiet. Otherwise pretty spot on from my personal experience over the last few years.

I would be very concerned if they changed the theme half way for a dark ride.

Project WC16 - New for 2016
So much of this building is for a shop and the preshow though. I don't hold out for much with the actual ride. The width of the building we have now is pretty much the same width all the way along which the ride has access to. The massive bit that sticks out which they are yet to put up is a shop and preshow... I may be wrong and this ride could be good but at the current moment in time it doesn't look too thrilling. There isn't even any footers for the ride system.

Chessington General Discussion
Well falling stock prices, low visitor numbers and presumably falling profits they must be trying to keep onto some of that money. I understand why they are doing this but I feel they could have gone about it a different way.

Project WC16 - New for 2016
Doubt its a coaster. Lack of footers, the building being quite small and its odd shape implies that it won't be a coaster. Also the fact that lifting track into place is hard when there is a roof in the way.

Project WC16 - New for 2016
Well my prediction of it looking hideous wasn't far off.

Knotts Berry Farm
They did a similar thing to thunder road where they refurbished some corners for structural improvement and a better ride experience. Making it smoother with better transitions. I suspect that is what they are doing here.

'I'm a Celebrity' Maze
So you honestly think that I'm a celeb is improved by going out of a fire exit with a very anticlimactic end than the cyclone with the slide. Yes they listen to feedback, my complaint with them is they listen to feedback and take the easy cheap route out.

'I'm a Celebrity' Maze
Hahahahaha. Priceless excuse. Hahahahaha.

Alton Towers General Discussion
Opening a food place after lunch... Well done on that logic. I understand that people are not exactly near that area but still. Surely they should have a restaurant open for lunch.

Walt Disney World Resort
I can name you Jake Sully and Toruk Makto. I was quite a fan of avatar when it came out but its not a film I would like to watch again and again. It lasts forever and has no story. Easily forgettable and I am sure it will not get as many people as they hope.

Closed Rides
Cedar point and most American parks completely shut down in the rain. 120mph in the rain is deemed too painful. I don't blame Thorpe for shutting down in torrential rain. Sometimes it's needed.
