I have a feeling it would go down a bit like the Sky news interview with Nick Varney but with a bit more aggression.

Perhaps you could invest in some glasses straps so you can tie them to your head so you don't have to take them off.

Since when was Ripsaw a Roller Coaster?
Sorry I'm a bit confused, what do you mean by that?
-
Hope it is the beginning of the end for Ripsaw. It may encourage them to invest in some sort of flat ride, something the park needs.
-
You say that but then the smiler's station turned out to be a massive concrete lump with some yellow pipes on it. Nothing compared to the plans and I would regard that as an eye sore. I understand that they will have the trees ready but because it is an eye sore I don't believe is their justification.
-
The plans do indicate there will be (tall) trees hiding the lesser themed parts of the building.
I am aware of that, I just hope they get them in as quickly as they possibly can. That could be quite the eye sore for a while.
-
It may hide X but my god does that side of the building ruin it. Why go to all the trouble to theme half of the outside of the building. I had concerns about the fact it wasn't covered but now with the renderings. I hope they get some plants to hide at least some of it as soon as possible.

So they are keeping the back of the park closed until 11. Cost cutting, again...

How much longer will the scaffolding be on Rita for?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Most likely forever. It was added after the cable snap and they have had a lot of time to add a more permanent solution. I think the scaffolding is here to stay.

Emphasis on the word "may".
To be honest, it's like when they say "kills up to 99.9% of bacteria". All it really means is "we have no clue, and are just dressing it up to get your attention."
The article title is nothing more than clickbait. Simple.
Maybe a little off topic but most bleaches kill 100% of bacteria its just that it's impossible to prove it kills everything. So as a result to avoid false advertisement claims they say 99.9%

Ah yes but the queue time of the smiler fell from 80 minutes which it had been around for 2 hours to 40 minutes just an hour before. Also the evidence they added a train is based of a few witnesses. Your justification is invalid as it disproves yours as well. The accounts of people on the train are going to be a little more accurate I think.

I'd be more than happy to provide the server with support in appearance.
-
Well yes that is one major thing, but its also the fact that spawn is just so plain and doesn't let you know anything about the server. Its very non user-friendly and as a result is confusing to new players. I suspect the server as a result experiences a lot of new people joining then leaving shortly after never to return.
-
CoasterDude do you know the owner well? Just from a few seconds of trying to join I could tell you a few things to get more players.
-
What evidence was there that they added a new train? The queue times suggest a train was added about an hour before. Also the story from the people on the train said they got on and off the train 3 times before they were finally sent. Doesn't sound like a train being added to me.

They have a few models you can see which are being used in the game. The B&M hyper looks far more detailed than the one RCTW showed off.

There are many things in it which you could easily throw back at them but I would want to read the attractions T&C's before saying anything for certain.
Any other place I would also not be "that" guy. However with Merlin I'm very happy to be the one which kicks up a fuss. Then again everyone here already knows that.

Yeah beat you to it
Must say I do enjoy reading those terms and conditions from time to time. Section 12 to me implies that they can not charge premium pass holders for parking at any point.
Also not entirely sure but when they say "like xyz but not limited to". I thought that it was too vague and so the court would rule in the defendants favour.
-
Merlins annual pass holder terms and conditions do not allow for charges to premium pass holders for parking.
In fact having read the whole terms and conditions there doesn't seem to be a clause that allows them to charge for premium parking.
"12.6 Parking fees at the Attractions will be payable.
For the avoidance of doubt, the restrictions and additional fees set out in this Term 12 do not apply to the Premium Merlin Annual Pass"
These terms may not be changed without 30 days prior notice.
-
Before engaging in an argument confirm that Merlin have not changed the terms and conditions. They are able to change them without notification. If it is the case that they have not modified them then unleash hell, so to speak.

Slammer
in The Past
Posted
When I was there last time I rode slammer multiple times. The first 2 times the ride was being batched by a staff member while the ride was in motion so loading and offloading was done very quickly. However in the afternoon the batcher was gone and was left to the standard set up I saw last year. I do believe in the morning the ride had 4 people working on it, the 2 operators one on the exit side and one batcher however later in the day it seemed there was only 3 people. The 2 operators and person on exit side. So when the ride had stopped the person on the exit side would come over and batch people. This makes me think the slow loading could just be down to not enough staff. However saying that slow loading isn't a problem as the queue never really exceeds 1 or 2 cycles anyway.
