So does Thorpe.
-
Well the crucible was exploding because of the doctor Donna maximising the dalekanium power feeds causing the daleks and the crucible to be destroyed. Which davros chose to stay in. So without the tardis or the crucible davros, if he managed to somehow survive that explosion, would have been left in the medusa cascade which was a second out of sync with the rest of the universe.
-
For example I thought davros was dead. Killed by the reality bomb. So how can he be on skaro dying of old age.
-
The daleks were the point of the episode. I'm fine with them being there. Missy I think is the worst master there has been and the episode would have been way better without her.
I think it's time for Steven Moffat to hand over to someone new. He gives the impression that he is out of ideas.
-
I don't understand why missy is in the episode. She doesn't make any sense to be in it. Her entire purpose is to move the plot on. I prefer the episodes where it's just one major enemy, not 2+.

Well they are there to make money. If they think people will pay for it then they are going to charge.
-
Whilst all distributed by paramount they are still all owned by Disney. Acquiring the licenses and relevant IP stuff would be complicated and expensive. Not to say that it couldn't be done I just think it would be unlikely.

Nemesis
Oblivion
Swarm
Air
Nemesis inferno

It's most likely curved so the screens look good. A corner on a screen in a dark ride would look odd and damage the immersion.
-
Not in order but I've only been on 13. However swarm is in my top 10 so I am only a basic human being.
Nemesis
Oblivion
Air
The swarm
Nemesis inferno
Bizzaro
Nitro
Batman the ride (sfga)
Mantis
Raptor (cedar point)
Gatekeeper
Green lantern
Superman ultimate flight

I thought the reason fury was designed to be temporary was down to the fact that they could not get permanent planning permission on the lift hill because of it being in the green belt. I do believe that situation has now changed and the lift hill now has permanent permission.

Cedar point and Thorpe park are not exactly similar. They share a few ride types but when you have 16 coasters that tends to happen with almost every park. Thorpe is themed, CP is not. CP has great operations, Thorpe is hit and miss. If you love thrill rides then I would strongly recommend going there. If you go for immersion then the park isn't for you.
-
Wait are you trying to say that one train operation costs merlin the exact same as 2 trains?
-
-
I don't see how walk on queues at 4:30 is a justification for the 45 minute queues during the day. The only excuse for one train operation is that one of them is broken. They are trying to save money because of a shocking year in attendance. While in sure most of that is because of the smiler I think that there is other issues which is putting people off. For example the shocking upkeep of the park, terrible operations and the fact they haven't added anything worth while to the park since the swarm.

The use of maverick is an odd one. Cedar point is notorious for the tallest, fastest, longest ect. Mavericks gimmick is the launch aspect and beyond vertical. Yes it is a great ride. However to be realistic if you are going to spend £15+m on a ride you need to be able to sell it to people. Which means it needs something to shout about and stand out above the rest.

Dive coasters getting stuck on holding brakes.

An iphone battery (and in fact most battery's) has about 1000 charges in it before it no longer works as a battery any more.
-
Well with every other categorie it seems very amusement park based. Europa I imagine is coming down to good operations, good ride offerings and good extras. So comes together for best all round experience. So while I imagine theming played a part in the decision I doubt it was the main reason because like mentioned there are parks with far better theming.
-
They are more amusement park awards rather than theme park. The theming there may be incredible but to me I'd prefer just a decent ride.
-
The train does not have power nor does it have its own brakes. Once the ride has left the lift hill there is no stopping it until the next brake run.
The momentum of the train is massive. They weigh close to 10 tons each and when travelling at a high velocity colliding with an 80kg person will give a small overall change to the velocity of the train. So while the train will slow down it will slow down very little and likely have no impact on the train completing the circuit.

Europa has just won best park from the golden ticket awards again.

The whole thing is implying it's something to do with time which would relate to doctor who. It's been in the works a long time and changes to a dark ride are far harder to achieve. So for a show that changes so often I think that this ride will either focus on Madame vastra and strax or not have an IP at all.
