I'm not sure exactly, but when you look at the layout you realise that it is fairly big! You're right though, it isn't very high, although it must be higher than the building we're getting at Thorpe Park, surely? I think the one in Studios Hollywood might be even smaller (in height), as it doesn't have the launch up the hill! Depends which coaster you saw the video of

A Very Happy TPM Xmas - Saturday 20th December 2014
Altitude replied to AJ 's topic in TPM 2014 Meets
Just realised earlier today I can't go on this meet anymore as I'm stuck at work Sad times... #pray4ethan -
11/10 for passion.

All of these survival (torture) attractions really don't do anything for me! I can see why people love them, I really can, but I think I prefer to be told a story and be scared whilst having a laugh. I almost chickened out on Face it Alone so I doubt I'd even go near McKamey Manor is the event Josh just posted

I know the fish eye on that photo makes it look worse, but that transition into the roll is just ugh

Plus Center Parcs is great because you ride your bike everywhere and the sites are huge, whereas this will be small, compact, and you could walk the distance in a few minutes! I think I'd rather visit the AT Hotel again than stay in a lodge, they look so small!

Well Disney isn't for everyone. Plus I'm the same age as her, so I'm just being friendly, sorry if you can't handle it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Loves Disney and is from the south! I can relate

^ How come when the ride opened in 2009 they let you queue inside then? Every visit that year was the same.
-
Whole thing is still a bit rapey though.
-
I hate it too, Mark, although I completely agree with you that it's exactly what they needed! It's not even that short, compared to Swarm and Stealth at least. Plus I don't know what the throughput is exactly, but whenever I've queued for it, I thought it went down at a reasonable pace! Might just be me though...

Had to get my cat Snowball (original name I know) put to sleep this morning. I knew it wouldn't be easy but it's really hard to deal with as I'm sure many of you know from experience. Poor little thing hadn't eaten in 3 days, couldn't walk or swallow, but he still loved being next to somebody for company and cuddles! Sad to see him go after 10 whole years of fun but at least he went peacefully and with his dignity! Miss you snowy

So to sum it up, water rides are wet.

Looks good so far! Colours look gross now but I bet they'll look good once all the mud has been covered and the theming is finished! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Good choice I think it's one of those songs that sound best very, very loud!

Oh ok, misunderstanding on my part too! I think it'll be interesting how the two compare in terms of smoothness and generally enjoyment, given how similar they both are! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Little misunderstanding on toofpikk's part, nothing to get upset about haha... They do look very similar though so it's an easy mistake. I think the one at Hansa will have an enclosed drop, and that weird double-heart thing afterwards! Oh and I'm not sure if it's been posted yet, but (what I assume are) the evacuation stairs have been installed!

^ Yeah I suppose I agree, although Spinball will always be far worse! I think 100ft is the right height though, and the colour is perfect for the park. If they plonked a Sheikra in there, that would be bad!

^ Can I ask why it doesn't make sense for Efteling? This ride is highly themed, it follows a fantasy-style narrative and it quenches the park's thirst for another thrilling coaster since the last one was Python! I think it's kinda perfect tbh, especially how they've managed to soften the impact of the B&M track on the rest of the park using the theming on the highest point! I do completely agree that the thought that has gone into this is fantastic!

Some more construction photos, this time from vijfzintuigen.nl! The tower from which the lift hill will rise has taken shape!

I think that's why I personally don't like it! Because it did actually happen! I think the advert is well shot and the acting is definitely decent, however because it's trying too hard to be emotional, I don't find it sad? If that scene was in a movie, I would probably be moved! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think it's slightly odd to take something like that (which actually happened) and twist it to advertise. I know it's not showing anyone dying, but I think it's weird. The John Lewis penguin advert is fab though <3
