  1. ^ Speed is good (well the airtime hill is...) Megafobia is sex. Drenched has a nice drop. The park is actually quite decent, especially when you compare it to other parks.
  2. Oh I know what Dead End was, 2010 was my first Fright Night! I just don't get the joke haha.
  3. ^ ... I don't get it :L
  4. Luckily Stealth doesn't have the supports to hold one!
  5. ^ Or have guests fight to the death for a Saw fastpass?
  6. ^ Well hopefully Lionsgate have done a film about storage...
  7. Dead Silence and Slender both rely on audio... With a Dead Silence attraction, I don't know how they'd get some scenes completely silent, because you'd hear people talking from other parts of the tour. As with Slender, you'd need the same thing. Plus both films rely on suspense rather than actual scares (most of the time), and I doubt they could pull that off.
  8. I like the new style. It just looks much more professional.
  9. Megafobia is rows of two, as is the Treetop coaster thing! Megafobia slays though <3
  10. ^ Why use Disney music when you could have somebody compose a new piece?
  11. I love how the family claim the "traumatising ordeal" lasted for 15 minutes, but it actually lasted for less than 3! She obviously just wanted compo.
  12. I really hope the ride lives up to the concept art.
  13. If Saw's IP was that bad, then I really don't see why they would go on to add Saw Alive and an entire event using Lionsgate IPs.
  14. ^ Saw isn't a good ride in your opinion though. It is a good IP. It made money. Doesn't matter whether you (one person on the internet) likes it or not. It did it's job. IPs are used to make money. As for your poor music comment, again, it's your opinion. Music is a form of entertainment, and if a song reaches #1, it means people are being entertained and buying the song. And because it's making money, it's a "good song", even if it isn't to everyone's taste. Why do you think most artists even create music? It's passion, and money. You might like metal music, I don't. That means for you, metal music is "good" because it entertains you. Whereas I hate it because it doesn't entertain me.
  15. You said earlier the layout was "uninspired", but now you're saying it's not a complete pile of ****e? I'm not really sure what you're getting at. The IP isn't horrific. It's worked. Like I said it still pulls the longest queues, even though there hasn't been a SAW film in years. People still come to ride the coaster, how is that a "horrific IP"?
  16. Whilst I agree about the dead IP, I have to disagree with your comment on the layout. Obviously it's just your opinion anyway so it's not fact, but I really don't think it's that awful. It has a mix of inversions, plus a mix of dark ride, small drops and a roller coaster. It has an interesting, unusual drop (and whether you like the drop or not doesn't matter, it's still unusual for a coaster), and it has a mix of fast-snappy elements with longer ones too. If Saw's layout is uninspiring, then so is Stealth's, but pretty much everyone loves that coaster.
  17. The USA is great for theme parks, but it's not everything. I agree with you that it's rough, but it's done the park wonders. It still draws the biggest queues in the park half a decade on, and it's become famous simply because of it's name! Yes, some of us might hate it (I quite like it), but you can't disagree that is was a good investment, business wise. The woodie looked good, but it really didn't look outstanding. Lack of airtime, short... etc. Plus wooden coasters have moved on so much since 2009, it would seem a little outdated!
  18. ^ Perhaps, or maybe there just isn't enough images to fill up the width of the page?
  19. ^ Sorry but you do realise somebody already mentioned that like... A week ago? We don't know if it's just them doing work on the trees.
  20. ^ CityWalk then? If Thorpe Park got a CityWalk style area, I would seriously cream my pants.
  21. Another problem... Other planes? Heathrow is next door. And yes, planes coming into Heathrow are still very high, but it would never happen.
  22. ^ Well from what I've seen from Paramount Park in Spain over the past months, it would be fantastic! I really think something like that would work in the UK, too. The Spanish park will have, for example, a rapids ride and a Vekoma Mine Train. We could have them! And the artwork that I've seen that depicts those two rides is fantastic. Hopefully if this park goes ahead, we'll get something like that. I wish they'd look at Universal Orlando, and see that IOA, Universal Studios and CityWalk together work well.
