  1. Well then that's tough! The game relies much more on people creativity to make something out of nothing, which is a step back from a lot of the pieces people made from RCT3. If you can't think on your feet, or at least construct ideas with minimal materials, you're floating a sinking boat for yourself at the moment..

Having said that, I am in the same boat as you. I much preferred the prefab style of RCT3, and have spent hours making intricate pieces and details for my ride (not plural on purpose) because I simply need them and don't have the premade pieces available in RCT3. The fact that you have to construct a roof from literally 1000s of the same piece is taking the piss a little in my eyes, however it really forces your practicality and imagination to the limit.

I'm nearly finished with this. the back portion of the station needs finishing and I'll be done. It greatly upsets me that I started this about 8 months ago though, and I feel as though my progress and substance to this project is much less compared to my old RCT3 stuff.

If you need to ride a ride in a certain way or a certain seat for it to be good, then it's not a good ride. ;)

alright so taron must be bad because it's only forceful and intense later in the evening at at the back; boulder dash must be bad also because unless you're nearer the front the force isnt as intense and actually leaves you feeling quite nauseous, wodan is a meh because the bar system removes the feeling of freedom you so desperately need on a ride. I agree, good rides shouldn't have to have ways of riding them, but adding these things doesn't stop that from happening. Riding boulder dash and wodan nearer the front sitting up in your seat a little helps a lot, and like I say, riding taron nearer the back gives a totally different experience to the front, and these I would argue are my top 3 favourite rides. Never said it was good, just not dull. Its fun which is more then I can argue for, for the majority of british rides

Not going to lie it's rather funny seeing people freak out over something that's pretty obviously just a rebrand of the Big 6 challenge.

Please actually go for that job as a met investigator your skills are impeccable

  5. River quest was having a lot of problems at the end of last season, and I dont remembering reopening from about mid october. It's quite possible they took the opportunity to just close it and do even more work to it, finding an excuse to do some more face lifting here and there?

Even if this isnt the case, things like this show why this is such a well held park.

  6. I was going to say, a B&M was submitted quite a while ago (9 years ago actually). It followed your typical invert of that period with a swooping drop into a loop % twist element, and looked also, quite good.

A no limits player recreated the ride and named it mercury lampe if you want to look it up. Quite an interesting concept to be supported by glass like structures, and seemed to have a steam punk theme about it. I wonder what the new one is going to be like.

  7. the issue is, as has been spelt out over years and years of bickering, you are perfectly fine to slate merlin parks for parallel problems but as soon as blackpool has similar goings ons you flip it all on its head, which is great because you're seeing the best of a situation, but it's also bad because it's a highly hypocritical thing to do when you seem to reserve it for parks that aren't merlin.

It is bad that pmbo only has 1 train running. that's a fact, but at the same time their ride line up this early is pretty acceptable (sorry, I'm not very bright and have a limited vocabulary) (no). Considering the vast majority of their attractions are open already is very good, it's just disappointing they didn't prioritize work on their biggest one. This is technically the start of their season, with weekend openings at least now until the end of the year, so I'd expect a similar response from all members if other parks have a similar issue. If not then you're all silly :)
