  2. Only thing I can recommend altitude is to try it out with a mouse. Touch pads are really no good for this game.
  3. Yes Jimbob (I read somewhere we can call you whatever) You will definitely need a mouse to move round in game, to access everything possible. Using a touchpad is very difficult, mac's are slightly better as they all allow multi touch points but it is still hard to move and rotate round in it. There are two ways of doing this, they are very similar just at stages of the game loading. The one I'm gonna show you is in the main menu. 1. Select options 2. (from here on the process is identical but you can access it in a park file) on the top right hand corner select the camera labelled camera settings. 3. scroll down to control mode and select: advanced for the unique completely manoeuvrable camera in RCT3 (pushing using the corner of the screens or right click, rotating by either left+right clicking or holding down zoom mouse etc) or freelook, this is similar to minecraft but you can only rotate on the spot using the zoom mouse, and you can only move in pivot directions using arrows. I only use this to do interiors of buildings. That's how you change your camera type, then there is of course the best graphic settings: Hope this helps anyone in trouble with their game, or just helping optimise it ^^. PS if you do not want shiny everything turn off bloom.

  8. Apologies for a lack of updates. PT2 isn't happening for now. Instead, this update is some update pictures of the park. Please bare in mind it is still majorly WIP: Here is a facade of a restuarant I was working on whilst in a call with cornflakes In the large scale of things in the western area it is the second biggest building, and is actually the 3rd tallest overall in the park besides the manor. The top spin finally has a name... A bit of a tongue twister. The converted summer house and garden 'shed', now a small snack house and a midway building. The entrance. 10 metres walk from the disabled parking just out of the picture. Very heavily inspired by Drayton Manor & Thorpes. Tried to mix the Edwardian style with the joining roof tops, making it repetitive but not to the point it's just dull red wooden boxes. Guest services sits opposite the Western area. First bit of foliage done on the West side of the park. It started raining again. Typical british weather haha.. Here you can see the AP & ticket building and a view of Itzquemitl, the intamin standup, facing in the direct opposite direction from the one above. And finally an overview of the 75% complete phase 1 of the park. Car park in place, trees & foliage on the east in place, all the rides in place and just a bit of theming in the western area to do. I say a bit, but it's just finish off the restuarant and the colossal mountain to be put in.. And terrapainting and foliage. With any luck it'll be done by christmas. I've had no comments yet, and I could really use some to help me see the community backing behind this little project. COMMENTS THEREFORE ARE VERY VERY WELCOME.

  11. TBH the pizza at disneyland paris is like sainsburys own pizza, but with a soggy base, over cooked tops, and a 1 infront of the original price. Some of the other places are okay though. Just not the pizza.
  12. Don't get the pizza.
  13. I still need to ride that dang thing. ORLANDO 2016!!
  14. Holy sun of a gun, that thing is pretty ugly. Cool ugly.

Gosh the docking sequence had me sweating. Fortunately I woke my Dad up minutes before. Not sure how you can fall asleep in the sound tracks and the starting of the action. Would've understood in the last half hour or first 40 minutes though. Still not a huge fan of the ending. Seems a bit willy nilly for me.

There's Dark rides, then there are Dark rides. Dark rides are simply rides in the dark. They can be anything really, I mean this covers anything from sub terra to spiderman, to X to the temple of the nighthawk etc. Then there are Dark rides. These are the simulator guided tracked tour rides you see at universal. They can be anything really, but they tend to take you on a fictional journey, rather then just a physical one. It's like saw and saw, you have 2 meanings for the same word. I saw a saw that was sawing when I saw it. The dark ride was in the dark so the dark ride was a dark ride. Usefulless input for the day, check.

  20. Nope, I believe you're right! I tried to highlight that early making antiRollback system into ARBS, clearly not caught on, lol. But yeah I think it's when the train builds up a little speed going up the lift hill and the bouncer under the carriage that locks into the ARBS teeth speeds up it's ricochet, or it's the chain and the chain lock under the carriage being 'torn', if you will, from eachother..

Album of the year I loved Hans Zimmer's stuff for the Amazing Spiderman 2. However repetitive it is, it still gets me. That and Two Steps from Hell's Skyworld. God. Song of the year Final Frontier, Thomas Bergesen; Music Video of the year Into the labyrinth - AMV Film of the year Interstellar/HTTYD2. Other then that the only movies I watched were 22 jump street and bad neighbours, which I thought were both rubbish. TV Show of the year Wrong mans was great, but the new series of south park is killing me! Sporting Moment of the year My Dad crying after London to Brighton...? Eh.. Personal Moment of the year Nearly falling off the yosemite. That was hilarious, I had my mum freaking out and I said the only way to fix me was to get a hot dog and it worked for once xD (That and riding balder dash.. And valhalla... and Grand national... and Steeple chase...)

I am so so SO jealous of your american trip! I went through the exact same path as you on the West coast of america but unfortunately the only park I visited was Universal, which was to be honest not exactly what I was looking to do. Anyway it seems like you've had an amazing year, I am jealous of how well you have travelled. I can't wait to grow up a little more ^^
  23. I just want to be able to see thorpe park in snow.
  24. Colossus' crunches at it comes off the ARBS has to be one of the most iconic mechanical sounds I've heard.
