The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman
pognoi replied to Kerfuffle's topic in International Attractions
Oi, Coasterdude since edited out some of his post which openly commented about the finale of the ride. He's now respectfully removed it, but really? I wouldn't watch a POV if I didnt want it spoilt, I'm really not that stupid. -

^ Wha? If I get the job at Chessington it may stop me from attending some meets... But also will give me reason to visit more merlin parks. At the same time, I'd like to visit Chessington at least, if I don't get the job, 5 times. I don't think I'll ever beat my record of 17 trips to Thorpe in 1 year, and seeing as I didn't visit Towers last year, that's a must, hopefully twice. Now I know I live near Peaj, I have more of a reason to come to meets then ever

I have a weird/special request to anyone & everyone who has visited Hansa recently. I was recently tasked in college to re brand Hansa park. I have to redesign their logo, mascot, possibly park map and make advertisements and banners showcasing their rides and attractions. For this I need pictures, personal one, however I will in no way be able to visit Hansa Park before the 9th of January. If anyone is willing to share pictures of rides, but also parts of advertisement around the park, I'd really appreciate it!!

The ironic thing is they never removed them from most mainland European countries. I've had a good few of em, in Spain, Holland and Switzerland. Good to see it back here, home though.

hahaha, XXL, come on.

This is getting stupid. Someone said on Facebook the legoland malarkey was a typo. But still merlin could really use a kick up the backside to sort them self out. Hurry up paramount, you couldn't come sooner. As for paige, I've found you both do not have to pay or visit your 'home' attraction to get a new pass. It was probably luck but when I lost my wallet I asked for a replacement really nicely and the guy said cos I was so polite I'd get it for free the fact a woman before me was screaming at him for a £200 refund helped a little I think. I've found so long as you have your blue receipt you don't need to visit your home attraction, otherwise it may be necessary to.

Arabian Adventure: Ferrari World & Friends

Incredible, thanks for this. I am very jealous of all these trips you do. Good thing Ferrari world is getting a new gringotts style ride next year -

The advert was okay, but I think it could've been a lot better. After a recent reflection I realised how much I'd been bashing merlin recently when compared to others, they may be doing an okay job, just not when you compare it to those it compares itself to. So, what did I like in the video? I think the fact they tried to incorporate poltergeists was a fun attempt. The advert is clearly targeted to a young family and kids, seeing as there were barely 2 shots of coasters, and the commentator was a child. It's good they made their target audience clear They managed to fit a large range of their attractions in there, even if they aren't the most thrilling ones. They clearly presented the objects they were trying to sell.. They managed to showcase some of the forgotten attractions to us as an audience and purchaser. Many teens and young adults buy MAPs for the theme parks, but there are smaller attractions like the eye attractions, Warwick and sea life attractions that can be looked over or forgotten, a prime example being the Christmas meet where we just looked over sea life. So it ticks all the boxes? No. cons The mix of pictures and videos didn't work in this video. It felt like a south park animation mixing in cinematic videos of 5 year olds and castles. I would have preferred consistency. The event they were spinning off was rather far fetched. What's a 7 year old going to know about the general elections?! Why are theme parks associated with this? WHAT?! some of the shots were from international parks which can only be accessed freely using the VIP pass, which is 5 times the price advertised. Whilst they did a good job for the much 'tamer' attractions being shown in this advert, they forgot almost completely the other end of their spectrum, with only one shot of a particularly thrilling coaster. Even a couple more shots from Thorpe park or Alton would have made a difference Overall I have just made a film review for a 50 second advert. Clearly shows I didn't think it was that bad, and may have been good! Thank you, thank you, good night! Dan commented whilst I made this post, and I mostly agree with his statement even if I don't sound like it xD

ISN'T INTENSE? ISN'T INTENSE? We must've been riding different rides, but by God this was one of the most intense experiences on a ride in my life. the float time you get is incredible, the heights you reach are insane, and the releases and pulls you get are arguably better then most drop towers. Power tower is great, I'm very glad SCB forced me onto it otherwise I may not have ever experienced such a magical ride. But to call something SO EXTREMELY INTENSELY INTENSE is like saying Nemesis is a pretty tame coaster, or Kingda Ka isn't that tall.

Here is a great quote from some midget who is annoying named Matt: Yolo

now that, is disappointing. I don't normally enjoy drop towers, to the point detty is my least favourite ride at thorpe, however I absolutely loved power tower, the air time is ludicrous and it's so much fun. When number 3 is completed they better get hold of it.
