Haha! You're too kind Alpengeist I've decided due to a lack of interest to at last change 1 trip. The chessington trip shall stay on the same date, however the Thorpe/Legoland trip shall be on either the 14th/15th, or 28/29th of June. This way hopefully peops can make it to one now, seeing as they're on a weekend. Some interest on attending would be great!

Hm. Maybe these trips need re-planning. The Chessington one still stands for sure, however I may push back the legoland/thorpe one by a week or 2 (and change the day) along with the Adventure island one (if Paige agrees).

I had no airtime on the smiler. I think the fact there are trims and the speed and the length of the train plays a massive part in it, as they seem to be a similar shape/length as the little (head chopper) one on Colossus after the loop. To be honest I don't really remember them, the bit I remember most is coming out of the first inversion and not being able to work out which way was up or down due to the mirrored walls and the puddle (or mirror) on the floor

Hello everybody! I guess some regulars here will know me as I've attended a meet and plan to visit Chessington with you this weekend. (otherwise I'm quite quiet apart from in the chat). Now, as a few of you are aware, this year exams end quite early. And being in exam season, I get essentially 13 weeks of summer holiday this year. Now, what normal rollercoaster enthusiast would spend this time sitting around twiddling thumbs and playing RCT3. Well the answer is me last year, but this year, after joining this wonderful community, I want to give something back, especially to people who are free, or my sort of age. This year, I plan to organise up to 3 mini meets, with members of all communities I'm related to (be it friends off facebook, here, RCT3 fansites, etc.) and whilst some of them are on weekdays there will also be a weekend meet. Here are the plans so far: Confirmed Tuesday, 17th June 2014 - Chessington World of Adventure (required 4+)- Done Confirmed Sunday 22nd June 2014 - Thorpe Park INFERNORUSH MEET - Done Summer Thrills 'n' Spills! Processing - Sometime between 11th & 22nd of August. Other then Riding a few rides, having a laugh and spending a day in a theme park as a group again, the aim of this event is really me being selfish and forcing you guy to come along to one of my trips because I'll be missing the summer nights one and can't go 2 months without seeing you guys (Woo! In love with strangers, I'm hooked on it! yeah!!) I'd prefer to keep this quiet, (compared to the great success of attendance at infernorush) as hard a it may be. Maybe see some of you there? How long is it? My eyes and memory may be fooling me but it looks like one of the longest steel rides in Europe.

I was so annoyed that they closed G-Force on the thursday for maintenance. I can understand why they did it but they gave no warning of it, and G-Force was half the reason I was going. So annoyed. Anyway, I went on Shockwave twice, and its my new favorite over the track rollercoaster. The fact my balls died on the brakes and I nearly fell out on the zero-g roll made me enjoy it. Intense. Nothing new on the new ride, to be honest. A couple of fat men in hard hats said I shouldn't lean over the fence to take pictures and shooed me off. Ben 10's queue was too long for the worth, however it was still fairly enjoyable. They let me film on troublesome trucks and the rapids, so I did. I got some good videos to be fair. Stormforce ended the day for us. It was only 3 when we left. We sat back row. Never. Ever. Ever. Again. I'm fairly sure I got more wet then I do on tidal wave. I did enjoy it, and it was fairly quiet for the holidays. Anywho, I plan on visitng again in july, when I've finished my GCSE's and can go on a normal school'work day on my own. Cool coolz. (I will probably upload a video of shockwave soon).

Haha, yeah, you were only supposed to do one of them, and its a fun game, it doesnt have to be serious. A good answer is something like this, where competitors were asked to retheme air, and give it a lick of paint Use your photoshop/no limits/ rct3/ writing skills to emphasise your theme, and make it stand out! (Please only do 1 ride )

Inspired by James6's great competition of 2010 Welcome, one and all, to the challenge. In this game, you will be tested on your artistic side, and see how people respond to your fantasmical, splendilious ideas! Brief: You have been assigned a new job at merlin parks, who have recently over-ran other theme park buyers, and now own every theme-park in the UK. Your challenge, is to come up with a new theme/design/vibe of a significant rollercoaster, or space. Each challenge (if this one is successful) will give you 5 areas/rides to choose from, where you then either edit photos of the area, and leave a short description, leave a long description with no photos, or post a simulation of your new and improved ride. (descriptions should be no more then 15 lines long to avoid tl;dr's, and no more then 5 photo's in a post plz! :3) This week, to kick it off, lets go with some rides which really need some TLC: Colossus, (thorpe) Rita, (alton) Shockwave, (drayton) Vampire, (chessington) and Rage (south end) We're looking for 5 responses or more for this to become a serious weekly thing! A day after we get 5 responses, a poll will go up. You then vote for the winner, and they get the self satisfaction of designing something people like as a reward. Remember to look back at the past challenge threads for inspiration!

So.... bertifol. Ha, Inferno was the only ride I went on, the first time I came to thorpe park. (I mean rollercoaster) On that day, I rode it 17 times. Much like you, because of this wild, new experience, I didn't much care what anyone else thought, inferno was my baby. Beatufiully summed up and written, you deserve a nobel prize or something Mark!

Yes, I believe it comes from the chain lift, which needs oiling, of course. I gotta say, the Wardley meet was the first time I saw Mr. Croc, and it spooked me! Glsd to see them tidying up nemmy, there may still be some hope for Colossus.

That may be that in the trailer all the shots of the woodie were from outlaw run apart from the weird layout grahpic
