I agree as I said in my last post as yes it seems some people get these problems on here but the vast people don't as a roller coaster junkie I don't feel any of the stuff people get on here and tbh in IMO I would put my health always before coasters and if I every get told to stop I would I rather stop that put myself in risk

You got to remember tho Rush was a prototype when it was installed at Thorpe as S&S would ask thorpe to note down problems and how they fix them and also would ring thorpe if they had problems with other skyswings they installed

The cars will run one one train nornally because one car get serviced at night ready for tomorrow morning as then first thing In the morning they will switch the serviced one and take the one that was out last night to service ASAP to then run them back on two trains. Saw is the same but the service one car every night so they allways take one off then add it tomorrow if it's passed the service then take another off after work again

Zodiac was only open because the beach was closed and it's in the same team so they just switch to another ride

No it's before hand I'm working the event again so I don't have time to pop out to get something to eat as I have my break at 6pm I got to start my checks at 6:40 so I need to buy something on park but merlin places I get discounts that's why I'm asking lol I'm not attending the event although I would love to at some point lol

This may my seem weird comming from me but people who have stayed on park between 6 kicking out time and 7 pm open I know KFC and Burger King stay open for a little longer but what if any merlin owned places are open to eat at?

I have to agree I love BPB it's my favourite uk park and I'm glad it's number 1 they have come a long way yes it used to be a dump hole but they have turned that place round and it's slowly getting better and better and it's cheaper than most uk parks

Vortex opened around 4:45 to 5 ish

So assessment centre will be a ice breaker and 2 activities this is to see wether you work within a team and give out ideas and not just sit there all quite abs then the interview is they say give us example of loads of diffrent type of questions The working houres are varied but you contracted to work from 8am till 11pm this is to cover events like ministry summer nights fright nights but normal starts in summer are 8:45 till when ever we finish rides are split into 4 teams with 6 or 7 rides each so you will have a team briefing in the morning and then manager of team leader will call out rides and who on them starting with operator name 1st then host we don't normally swap rides on 5 of 6pm closes although anything past 6 we normally get swaps but never 100% as it depends on staffing Levals and who trained on what

He got on everything Evan magma apart from the 3rd time he could not and we not eaten either witch was strange we did not go on jumping bean as we both. Been on manny of them types of drop towers.

Hey my mate and I are thinking about going to paultons park my friend is quite big and I know it's a children theme park. Size wise he can get on all coaster at Thorpe park except Colossus and on Nemmy he has to use the big boy seats does anyone know it he be able to get on most things allright?

Also just want to add Colossus throughput is 1000 that's if the team are working well and trains leaving when the second has just past brakes

1st of all the seatbelts are only there for evacuation reasons they are not there as a fail safe as if you think about it a skinny only just hit 1.4 kid will not survive it the restraints fail he will still fall out. Most restraints have 2 or Evan 3 pistons or rackets that lock for example Colossus and vortex both have 2 pistons that are there if the lap bar fails it's has 1st and then 2nd piston to keep them lock and if they all fail the ride won't be able to clear to send. The seatbelts are only there for evacuation reasons where if you plug a battery pack in it will relice the car so Colossus has 7 cars per train each car has a slot so when it's inserted the 4 seats will be reliced it so we can safley get people out 1 at a time if the evac looks difficult. Same for stealth and I believe nemmy done in there rows same with swarm saw does not have belts because the batter pack has a hand held device that has 4 buttons on it and therefore you can relice them 1 at a time without the other 3 in that row comming up as well.

There a small drop tower And a boat ride

You all start at a set time in rides so 8:45 for 9:30 opning or 9:15 for 10 then you will work all the way up until your whole team has stop working and all cleaning finished then you all sign out as a team so when I close a ride when we ran through the que line we then shut the ride down then start to clean the ride area and que lines we then move to our coaster and help clean up there then when all team are together we all stood down so this can be up to 1hr half after park close somedays However if your under 18 you start At 11 due to young working reg but like I said that's for rides don't know how other departments work

It's a massive Crain that lives by the saw workshop and yer the genie did destroy that part of the track

We were told that it would be closed for BGT filming the other day when I last posted so I really don't know what happend but then again maby TP are saying today but I don't recall them shutting the ride for filming on the day they posted that

Staff were ridding it for training purposes as for host training you need riders and as slammer still closed they used staff but if there staff training on it I'm guessing it wont be 2 long

I'm guessing we hopefully see more themeing to the ride over there closed season

Yer they allways been there because before they got the contract with lionsgate they were planning on re opning the train as a ghost train they been working on the trains all year getting it ready then they found out that the track needed a massive repairs on the area they dug up to remove and decided they did not want to spend the money on the track it was gonna be a lot and I think they used it for slammer insted.

Yes correct we lock the bars turn the key and start to lower the floor then it starts to rotate then when the min rotation speed is hit a light goes on that enables us to press start again and it will swing after that it's all computer ran but what other people said correct if it's swinging Pooley then it stop qwicker because it's not as high if swinging well on the day and getting good hight it can take extra minute to stop compleatly
