    Slammer

When I went in August, the balancing was the quickest bit, there was just a long delay between sitting down and restraint checks. There was also a fair amount of time waited between when everyone was unloaded and we were loaded. By the looks of things it is probably something to do with the ride (like Dean said, pressure stuff)

    Slammer

Since the ride reopened this year, they seem to have been slowing operations right down. I'm guessing it could partly be the inexperienced staff or they are trying their best not to kill it again!
  3. According to the queue times page, Storm In A Teacup has a 65 minute queue, this can't be right surely o.o Edit: Gone back down to 5 minutes

  8. I'll also post my trip report from yesterday Ride Count - In Daylight Vampire x1 Dragons Fury x1 Monkey Swinger x2 Carousel x1 ( One of if not the most intense rides of the day- That Teacup The Mystery of Hocus Pocus Hall x1 The Haunting in the Hollows x1 Rattlesnake x1 Dragon Falls x1 Bubbleworks x1 Rameses Revenge x3 Black Buccaneer x1 Griffin's Galleon x1 Scorpion Express x1 (Front Row) Tomb Blaster x1 Ride Count- In the Dark Vampire x1 Rameses Revenge x2 Dragons Fury x1 Pros No breakdowns (except Falls which was only around 10 mins) all day! First time ever in a scare maze and they were both very good! Rameses looked spectacular in the dark with all the lasers and smoke. As a whole the queue times were not to bad Riding Vampire in the dark was very good 8pm Closure Cons Although riding vampire in the dark was good, the operations in the evening were dreadful compared to earlier in the day. Most of us in the queue were trying to work out if it was running 1 or 2 trains. It appears it was running 2 but it was very slow. When we were in the station Malcolm set a stopwatch to see how long it took. it took 2 mins 6 seconds to send 1 train out. Considering when it ran 3 trains it took around 40 seconds, it was stupid! Anyways that was the only con of the day, the rest of the day was amazing and exceeded my expectations!
  9. After some looking up at trains and stuff, it appears I will be able to make the 20th or 21st. However as I currently don't have a MAP yet, I will only be able to join for the Winter Wonderland part of the meet!

  11. I thought there was a sign saying something along the lines of 'whoops samurai is not avaliable today' by the entrance or has it been removed ?
  12. I know its only minor details and I should be grateful that the ride is running, but it would be nice over the closed season if the wheel covers are sorted as some are missing and a few of them without the fire stripes on them.
  13. Banned for disliking (now old on 3 trains although 2 trains still have it) the paint job of an amazing piece of history I.e the Great Yarmouth Scenic!
