Wicker Man
I agree with Cian. I would've much rathered a more thrilling coaster with plenty of airtime than this which looks like a standard and fairly short woodie. The question is: What does this ride have to give it the Secret Weapon title? I can't think off the top of my head what this ride will have to earn that title.

Efteling
Symbolica does look like it could be an excellent attraction! If it's pulled off correctly. It very easily could take a turn for the worse.. Still, I have high hopes! The theming quality of Eftelings attractions is some of the best I've ever seen. This ride will most definitely continue this quality.

Does anyone know that dates that Screamland will be taking place on this October?

Fright Nights 2016
^ I'm sure that the maze wouldn't be going there if there were any health and safety risks present...

Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise of the Demon
I have heard from many reliable people and many other reliable sources that the budget for the ride was £13m.

Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise of the Demon
The ride cost £13 million to build, despite it being "Merlins biggest investment". Kinda worrying that Thirteen had a bigger budget...

Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise of the Demon
I had a very similar experience to you last Sunday. Two rather terrible rides on it that lowered my opinion on it. Luckily, I got on a third time during the day, and the experience was a whole lot better! Loads of effects, very immersive VR, actors trying their hardest! The graphics of the second VR though are awful though, I do have to agree. It's the worst part of the ride for sure.

Gardaland
Sequoia Adventure looks like the creation of Satan... Can't wait to ride it in a few days Gardaland does look like a great park though. Thoroughly looking forward to Obilvion & Raptor!

Things You've Overheard at Parks
"The Darren Brown rollercoaster is closed because someone fell out" No word of a lie, I heard that one back in May after the first delay. It saddens me how some people are so stupid..

The 2016 Thread
The Ben and Jerrys vending machines around the park were also (for the first time ever) working last week Do prefer them over a Nitrogenie so I'm glad they you can still purchase them.

Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise of the Demon
It was fairly clear. The hosts tell you to take your headsets of and evacuate you from the train and into the safe room. They do also explain before you go into the safe room what is happening.

Fear on a Ride
Falcons Fury is the best and worst drop tower at the same time! The long way up is ok, so long as you're not scared of heights, it's when you get to the top, that's when it gets bad. You get tilted facing downwards! It was the scariest experience of my life. Your stuck there for a good 6-7 seconds before you fall 350 foot, facing the ground! It is such fun, and an amazing ride! Although, the feeling of falling facing the floor (ooh alliteration) is the scariest feeling in the world!

Fright Nights 2016
Presumably it's going to go around the railway by Loggers, seeing as Blair Witch is going down the route behind Inferno. This maze seems very interesting. I'm expecting a mix of outdoor and indoor sections, more so outdoor. I do expect it to be more of a maze though, and less of a walkthrough like Blair Witch is; It has been dubbed as a maze many a times. My only concern is them over-hyping it. Of course they will like everything they promote, although if it's given a scare factor of 5 when it's really not that scary, then there will be people leaving rather underwhelmed. This happened with TBT last year. It got given a 5 when it should've had no more than a 2 or 3. I am hopeful this year that Platform will be a great addition to the line up, unlike TBT was last year (I have no idea why it's returning it is a truly dreadful maze. Bring back Valentine or Studio imo).

2017
*12 scenarios That would make sense as everyone I know who's been on The Ghost Train have only experienced 3 different scenarios and 2 endings. 2017 will (hopefully) be the year where they all get introduced and the ride will be a lot more reliable. Loggers will re-open, possibly under a new name? Rumba needs quite a but of work done and we can all hope for a Colossus repaint!

Fear on a Ride
Cant really compare Vortex to Inferno as one is a flat and ones w coaster. They are both very fun and not too scary rides though. They were both among the first big rides I did at Thorpe a good 4-5 years ago now. They are both great starting rides to do to introduce you to the more thrilling rides there.

Is the second Summer Night in September exclusively for people who went yesterday or will it be available for all passholders?
