Infected people from DBGT somehow got their hands on a chainsaw... I doubt P15 will have a chainsaw finale. It won't fit at all (Big Flops chainsaw didn't fit though so you never know) I would love to be chased out by a train coming at full speed down a tunnel! That would be pretty terrifying! Never going to happen unfortunately.

Derren Browns Ghost Train was meant to open at 11am today. We get to the ride at 10-45 to be told the ride would be opening at 3. We come back at 2-30 and we got let into the queue. Two groups get let in at 3. At 3-10 everything stops. No music, no more groups going in... 30 minutes later, we get told that it won't be opening today due to a power cut. Absolutely dreadful for it's third day of it's official operating life.

5/10 Vampire is average.

Derren Browns Ghost Train Soundtrack CD?

Ahh yes because signs everywhere stating you can't film on the Ghost Train isn't enough... (Just a little hypocritical as I myself film on rides, but I have respect for the secrets that Derren wants to keep).

Managed to get on it twice today as it was open for technical rehearsals again. Compared to Fridays ride, it was a lot better. The 4D effects seemed a lot stronger and prominent and the experience seemed to flow a lot more. It does still need improvements. I find the VR to be blurry no matter how I focus it, and the headphones just aren't loud enough (While the VR shows an empty train, I hear people screaming around me). It is a very good attraction and one that I'm glad Thorpe have decided to put it in other than another rollercoaster. It is without a doubt the best dark ride in the UK. A good 8/10 from me.

They could be keeping a few things from us at the present time. They did this with Containment I believe. When The Big Top was announced in August, Containment wasn't announced until mid September.

We are so nearly there! Just days to go hopefully! Would love for it to be open by Monday, but we'll just have to wait and see..

Why is that post above quoted as me...? But in regard to the question, no-one knows when the ride is going to open. It could be tomorrow, it could be in August. The chances are it will be within 2 or so weeks. Or so we'd like to hope... We all just need to wait patiently for it to be (finally) complete, and then we can enjoy the ride for years to come
