All it needs is a repaint and the trains of Altair CCW 0204 or whatever the numbers are! But I think floorless could be an option, couldn't it?

Is this genuine? How can they advertise a second Pinfari as a Big new ride? I agree with Jamie here, there are so many more second hand cheap rides that are funner to ride and nicer to watch that a Pinfari that hasn't had a paint job. Now, this is just an opinion, but I think that Oakwood should have really considered a Maurer Skyloop. Surely due to Maurer Sohne's recent failure and announcement that they will soon stop producing coasters - there coasters will be really cheap as they'd be desperate to make a quick profit. Skyloops look Compact, fun and feature launches which Oawood don't have. It looks like a second hand Pinfari and I predict that it will ride like it to.

Isn't there going to be a GoTG dark ride at Universe of Energy at Epcot? That may just be a rumour though.

Our policy should be to return refugees to the nearest accessible place of asylum. (Which, in England is almost everywhere). They deserve it just as much as you or I and therefore we must stop looking down on refugees as they have every right to be here. The vast majority have escaped the immediate threat of a war that is ripping Syria apart. An immigrant is the same thing as an expat. Yet people think it's alright for a Brit to go to Malaga for 5 years and not for a Syrian (for example) to go to Britain for the same period of time.

It's not about the numbers in this case. It's about the fact that a succesful theme park requires cooperation from the guests. (If you write spoilers, when they asked not to, then you clearly aren't cooperating) Take WDW for example. It's renowned for being a world class park with a great atmosphere. This atmosphere is due to great cooperation from guests (most of the time). Now, if you compare this to Disneyland Shanghai, a park covered in litter and people urinating, you'd realise that cooperation from guests is key for a good theme park. I know revealing spoilers is a small way of not cooperating, but it still shows that Thorpe Park's enthusiasts aren't 100% with them and don't want to help them. I understand you don't have a great Merlin relationship - but don't try and make them fail.

RIP Charlie. You did my name no justice. My money's on an indoor flume in the location of Charlie. Maybe using a Dreamworks IP.

I never said we owe Thorpe anything. Nor did Marc. All I said is that it would be good for the company if we respected them and did as they asked. They're given us a multimillion pound dark ride that TP fanboys have been asking for for years and yet you still want do the opposite to what they asked. Keep it a secret and then it will help Merlin. Helping Merlin wil give them more money. More money will mean more investment into parks. More investment will mean more rides. More rides will mean better parks. Better parks will mean happier us!

I thought Mr Sanbrooke would have known better. For the parks sake, try and keep it a secret. It's what they asked for and as Merlin have been having a rough time recently - I'm sure they'd appreciate us making an effort to keep the secret. They've spent 3 years designing and creating this attraction without giving anything away, yet 3 days into rehearsals everything has been given away.

10/10. It's Gorillaz, no explanation needed.

I don't know but I've heard that there's two trains which move on a circular turntable.

Mark Cavendish was in the yellow jersey today too, following yesterday's terrific victory in the Tour de France. Yet that made no headlines. England may be awful at football but at least we're not half bad on bikes! Back to football, Norwich's 2016/17 home kit came out on Friday. Very nice indeed. Retro but modern at the same time. Let's just hope that our season will be as good as our kit. We've yet to sign any players, unlike Newcastle who've a managed to get Richie and Gayle. But, I'm hopeful and I think we'll have a succesful campaign.

River Quest.

It's not just any woodie, it's Montezum at Hopi Hari in Brazil! Happy birthday too. Oh and Equaster, 1/10. The background is marmalizing me. As is Jonny9403's avatar. 1/10 for the both of you.

14/27 Just a bit over 0.5. I'm not a Smiler fan.

You may find this interesting. It's a video of Jim Sheldon discussing the suspended coaster concept in 1979. It also features a prototype. Now, whilst the model is tiny and the train enters the corkscrew at phenomenal speed, this video does prove that Arrow Dynamics did intend to make their suspended coasters invert. Now, if suspended coasters did invert, I agree with Pluk that the carriage would have to lock into position like a spinner does. This is because there are simply to many variables. The weight of the train, the balance of the weight, the weather all have to be perfect to insure that the carriage completes the manoeuvre smoothly and doesn't wip round the element. I think it may be time before suspended coasters invert, but even if they don't, there is still plenty of ways that these coasters can be amplified and popularised again. Take Iron dragon at Cedar Point, which has been trying VR, and Vekoma's dragonfly. These days, don't put anything past Vekoma. They look like a really exciting company ATM.

Prior to Klugheim, I wasn't desperate to go to Phantasialand. Whilst there has always been rides that I've really wanted to ride at Phantasialand, being coaster obsessed, I've always had a greater interest in theme parks with lots of thrills. However, now Klugheim is open, Phantasialand has everything I want from a theme park. 2 really thrilling coasters, 2 slightly tamer coasters, 2 heavily themed water rides and theming galore. I need to get myself to Germany.

Going to Crealy's and Adventure Island in the same year. Sucker.

And they say that HMV employees never stop selling!

^Well I don't want to speak for others but @MilesK told me that he rated it 7/10 and @cianjs gave it a 5 or 6/10.

Ah, I also forgot to mention Lazise, which I believe is near Gardaland (?). It's a very pretty place and its peacefulness provides a good remedy for the craziness of a theme park.
-
This is great news. Let's just hope that the public have been as keen to ride this attraction as us.

Never been to Gardaland, or MovieLand for that matter. However, I went on a school trip to Lake Garda last year and we went to Caneva water park. So, very fun water park with lots to do. The black hole was great fun - as was the crazy river despite its giant queues. The park has 4 big water slides. With Stukas Boom headlining. It's an incredible ride and it surprisingly had no queue what so ever - due to how much it scared people. In addition, there's Twin Peaks and Water Jump. Both provide loads of airtime and barely get a queue. The food is limited but my €7 burger meal was delicious. We only spent 3 hours at the park but I still managed to ride everything I wanted lots of times. From Stukas Boom I got a good view of MovieLand and I have to say that it didn't look very large or filled with rides. So, this is just a suggestion but maybe just spend one day at both Caneva and MoviePark as I don't think either are full day parks. Now, if you do combine both parks, you will then have a day to explore Lake Garda and take in its beauty. Nice parts of Lake Garda include Malcesine and Riva del Garda - and if I remember correctly, we took a boat between the two. So, have a great time on your trip. Lake Garda is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to...
