  1. It'll still look like a messy cover up when it opens because I doubt the trees will be thick enough for a few years.
  2. S13 was my first maze ever so I didn't know what to expect at all, so I was dying with nerves beforehand (one of the first days of FN and I was one of the first to go in) but I just laughed my way through. It wasn't nearly as scary as I thought it was so I was a bit disappointed really.
  3. I'm dying. Don't change it back. I want to keep that for now
  4. I need to change mine. I hate it. What was I thinking? I'd just change it to Grace or Ginger or whatever.
  5. If Vampire finally pops its clogs, what will happen? It takes up a large part of the park and it's a major ride too. Would they replace it with a replica or would the council not allow it?
  6. These tunnels could have a mist effect if the ride is Doctor who (if the tunnels looks anything like the opening sequence, anyway). I guess I'll have to ride it quickly before the effect brakes.
  7. To be honest, I've never heard of Derren Brown (or that's just me being ignorant) and I thought that it would be a strange IP to go for. I'd rather this ride not be an IP at all, and for it to be its own story that Merlin makes.
  8. But sheds aren't that hard to put up at all, or maybe they are going to have a slightly less B&Q-ish finale this year and build something proper. It wouldn't take long to put another one up.
  9. This is strange, I know the not all people would want to use the slide, but surely there could be a choice as to whether you wanted to go on it or not!
  10. Has lightning ever struck one of the taller rides such as Stealth?
  11. 5/10 probably a song lyric that is well known but I'm too stupid to know. Plus the guy in your profile picture is from Oingo Boingo.

    Dreams

I had a dream that one of my favourite artists from Instagram, me and some random girl from my primary school drove behind the Kardashians' red Vauxhall to their jungle treehouse where we made cardboard racing cars. The artist made hers look like Rita:queen of speed and then we tested them out at a skatepark. There is literally no meaning in my dreams. None. Another one (more recently) was that ANOTHER person from my primary school invited me to a party at Thorpe park and we went on Samurai. rather normal except the seating layout had been dramatically changed and it had about 15 arms (two people per arm, facing each other). It was really odd. And I seem to recollect a member of staff trying to murder us with a burger.
  13. I really hope they haven't. Lorikeet Lagoon was such a wonderful little attraction, it was something my whole family agreed on (except for the price of the pots)
  14. Isn't that technically animal neglect or basically just illegal? I'm not certain of the laws surrounding animals but it doesn't sound good. Also is there any proof that they were ill too?
  15. Cabin was also good for me only because the group of showing off teens in the queue came squealing to us (we went in about a minute after them) and asked if they could stay with my group (who consisted of two twelve year olds and my forty-four year old mother).
  16. 7/10 a very useful signature. Just at first glance you can tell whether Slammer is working or not(though it usually isn't)!
  17. Banned for reassurance of someone who is trying to ban you
  18. Made the awesome 'is Slammer working?' Site
  19. Someone mentioned before that Thorpe could re-theme Samurai around the carousel trap from the Saw franchise. This would be a great idea because a)Samurai is painted to fit in with the lost city, yet it feels a bit out of place. B.) Samurai are from Japan and not an Aztec jungle city. C) Saw the ride is closer to samurai and it would expand the saw theme within the park.
  20. I think Flying Fish is a good idea because there are lots of kids who will want to ride it but not their parents. I know a few families where this will be the case. Yes, there IS rarely a queue, but there must be a fair deal of empty seats on it.
  21. Would there a be slight possibility of some of the ride being outside, or have the plans ruled that out? It could explain why there's so little indoor space...
  22. Me and my friend completely gave up on the subject of witty interesting photos and went for the natural 'THIS RIDE IS AWESOME!' look.
  23. Merlin wise, my collection is not at all impressive as I pretty much have the bare minimum. My Smiler one is broken after I continuosly wore it to school (I tripped over a person and fell into a door, causing the pin on the back to fall off) so I kind of use it as a lucky charm...thing. I got the Tinkerbell ones in 2011 and 2012 (my two most recent trips) when I was obsessed with everything fairies *groans*. I now enjoy stabbing lanyard Tink's face with the pins on the back of the bages.
