  1. Bar 360 is alright! I wouldn't class it as a delicacy, however it is far from mediocre fast food.

Yup what Marc said - it's been in place since the ride moved to Thorpe Park in 2004.
  3. I wasn't arguing with you, Project LC. I am completely on your side here and agree totally. I'm arguing with the people who are blinded by thinking this is completely acceptable to do this kind of thing. Reminds me of when I rode the swarm with a 2hr queue and had to wait as they loaded 12 people via the exit for 4 goes (and left other rows empty) for a stupid PR shoot. Two hour queue. They used this exact same excuse when we spoke to them about it (basically.. our park we do whatever we want and don't care for our reputation).
  4. All HB leisure stuff are the same branding, the old fish and chips place and random units around park are all thorpe signage. There's LOADS of park signs and feedback signs cluttering the area as thorpe signage (the feedback signs are awful because they green and look like they've faded in the sun). I don't mean in queuelines, I mean outside of ride entrances.
  5. The thing I hate about it is that it wasn't down for technical/operational reasons. It was down for marketing purposes, rather than the point of marketing.. to make people enjoy their day, have no worries or irritations and then come back again. I hate the whole full price paid bollocks in any argument, it literally makes any argument or reasoning you have seem stupid and the people who listen to complaints/act on these then ignore you. Everyone should be treated the same in this aspect, whether you're an annual pass holder or a day guest paying whatever rate to enter. Don't act like the higher paying deserve better or try and use it to fulfil an argument cos it doesn't work.
  6. Yeah I agree with you - BPB do it properly. Signage - They use the logos on the main entrance. How about.. using the branding elsewhere like around the area? Only need to look at towers to see all signage in Forbidden Valley has hazard tape, all signs in X sector are the same background and text.. Katanga Canyon all have wooden backgrounds etc.. Whereas thorpe's is "ride sign" "generic theme park for everything else".
  7. I love how slow the dodgems have taken to be built. Slowest dodgem building ever.
  8. Absolutely **** off using that excuse - winds the **** out of me. Noone, absolutely noone pays the absolute highest entrance fee. And anyway, who cares WHAT the entrance fee is - surely if you paid £20 to enter you should have the same experience? I highly dislike them filming from 3 when it would've been perfectly adequate (with 3hrs of sunlight still) to do it once the park shuts. But I don't go and use that stupid stupid moaning thing which makes everyone not listen to you regarding entrance pricing.
  9. They're turning the park into more and more of a styled park, more like Blackpool. Sure it looks.. clean.. and sleek.. but it's not theme park in any shape or form. It's exactly what BPB have been doing the past few years. I hate how every area looks the same due to this signage nowadays.

Because they're all relatively young.. and they'll rip themselves to shreds eventually. Breakdance? That'd be awful.. they had one 10yrs ago. Like they're a good ride but that'd be the same as opening a Black Hole again.
  11. Cbeebies Land is well known to be coming - it's on Twitter and Facebook with around 8000 followers/fans on each, it's all over P&G products AND it's everywhere in tesco and on tv adverts now. That makes it understandable!

I think Subs should be replaced with a topspin. Cos why not?
  13. To add to this - 16+ can book with parents consent (bring a note signed by them explicitly mentioning this). However can understand why it's 18+!! Oh, and if you wanna do waterpark book early. It's sell-out almost every weekend which doesn't have split times, and this isn't a split time weekend.
  14. Swarm no roof = so they didn't need fire exits. Who on earth has heard of a roofing allowance?!
  15. Installed some new features? As in.. changed their working practices to allow the operators to manually lower it instead? Before last year they'd have to get a TL to do anything related to code LPs (Large Person).
  16. Unless Chessie is getting a solid 5k gate figure every single day then I highly doubt that (obviously more for weekends but weekdayswise!)
  17. I went last week and that's what it looked like at 11am. It was weird. As for fastrack, yes. The amount of people who queue to buy fastrack when everything has 0min queues is absolutely insane. Buy them when there are queues, you numpties.
  18. I dunno, it just frustrates me. You have.. rocks. Lots of rocks, and not a really decent ride where the swinging seems to work against the actual track layout to make it bland. I don't understand why they can spend so so much money to create something as bland as that, when it probably cost the same amount to make everest.
  19. Hmm. Not too impressed, they seem to have track which makes it look like it'd be fun if the track was static, but as it swings it makes you go very straight. Meh.
  20. Nah I think it's awful but at least someones done something - I'm more along the lines of people who call themselves enthusiasts should not be trying to rip off/scratch off/graffiti/damage anything any park has done regardless.

At least it's bloody running. They can close it and do a full stripdown to repair if you want, CoasterNegative Jamie? However I think everyone else would think you're a tit by saying that.
  22. Even Alton Towers didn't put Alton Towers Resort Live. Woah.
  23. Yay thanks for ruining peoples efforts. My favourite bit currently is how Bubbleworks photos now include the "smile for the camera" sign in the back of all photos due to its awful positioning. Nicely done. Other than that, I think they've done quite well with what they have there.. they've made it very dark so you can't see much of the rubbish anymore, and they've made it very colourful just as a dark ride should be. Happy on that front, apart from that all they need to do is just need to remove the entire ride and start again.
  24. There's very very little areas of the park which doesn't have music playing now - I can think of the pathways between north carpark (tarmac one) to either side of HPH.. but that must be about it now surely?! It's brilliant though. Purely brilliant.
