I love your attitude, Insider. Because your mates mums cousins sister works in HB Leisure doesn't mean they know everything about the park. We're not disputing that techies do stuff, they just don't do everything. And we know that because we work (or worked) there. You cannot argue with people who actually do the job. Muppet. (awk, got wrong name there sorry imagineer).

Definitely don't need to reveal that information as that'd kinda throw out their anonness which obviously all of us are hiding behind here. Just take his word for it!!!!!!!!
-
Depending on time of year I'd imagine though. I was there 3 days and paid £110 including park tickets and breakfasts. You can get some real good deals going on to fill space.
-
Definitely insulting a couple of members on here by saying that, they've been past Ents people and know what they did.
-
If there's been new gravel I'd say they're slowly getting it ready and repaired. Wouldn't put gravel down otherwise, you'd leave it be or tarmac etc.
-
Feels less like a corporate video that you show to inside clients, but still isn't great. Getting there though.

They don't have anything like that at present, as everythings about customer service rather than throughputs. However, I believe they're constrained by the rules governed by their predecessor of rides manager. The rules he's put in place (and probably will be hard to fight to show that reducing/removing these won't affect safety) basically disallow any sort of decent throughputs. Think one exit stairs in use, think not opening gates until everyones left etc.
-
That's true, I imagine they've tried to get it to stop upside down multiple times since though, pretty sure they put in some new safety feature. At least it didn't try and lower itself upside down or anything. We can take that as a bonus.

Don't really need any more than a couple of days to visit Paris if you go the right time. I went in november, hotel worked out at something ridiculous like £20 per person (on site) and the park was completely dead with everything but mad hatters open.
-
Half an hour I think. It was down for ages afterwards because it completely went against what it was meant to do. I don't think it's possible for it to happen anymore though.

They had kids on the ride 10yrs ago. They managed to load and dispatch without killing or injuring anyone within 45 seconds. Oh how things have changed for the worst on here.
-
Lol. Someone can't remember 06 then.

Been there since almost opening, if not opening. They've just been covered in **** for ages.

Thorpe are aiming at the older families with kids who are over 1.4m. That's what they've said they're aiming at. So yes, they're opening rides and getting stuff available for those which have just under 1.4m kids, so they have stuff to do, they're not aiming at those exclusively so don't need to put the other attractions in. So they're advertising the thrill rides in a more family friendly way, if you get me.

TraX would certainly know what he's on about. They might be looked after by techies elsewhere...
-
Yeah in the years of thorpe being all "destroy everything not thrills" they literally didn't care to think that they might re-use the train. The track has been damaged beyond repair, which is why everything went quiet after their rumours of almost instantly opening it. They wanted it open, they really really wanted it to re-open. Dunno if it's still in the forefront of their minds though, as I imagine the expenditure would put them off. Interesting to hear the trains are supposedly in fully working condition though. You need to move them to make sure they're fine, unless they roll them out to the station and back every now and then?

We're kinda lucky in that aspect, that we're the ones having the adverts and everything created rather than just copied embarrassingly from another site. I wonder if those parks have many enthusiasts who are proud of the parks. Wish they were allowed to do things themselves, each individual park knows more about what's best for them than someone in Dorset. NOT ANYMORE!: http://www.imascore.com/en/colossos-bekommt-neuen-soundtrack-von-imascore

Was it the old track or the station track? Glad stuffs happening though. Chessie (from pictures anyway) looks sexier than it has done in well over 10yrs now.

Heide always, always, gets cheap knock offs of the UK parks. It's lazy and they've done it since they've owned it. They seemingly went a little bit away from that with Krake's theme. And at least they don't play thorpe parks music everywhere anymore or use Ritas advert for Desert Race. They're getting there, slightly. But still have a long way to go and another park which'll benefit massively not being under UK ownership.

I'd happily see those three bulldozed as well. So we have some agreements. Though I'd prefer spinball dead than Air if we have it in timescale of bulldozingness. I just think it's exactly what Blackpool should not aim to be anymore. They seem to be clinging onto everything old and yet still manage to get people through the doors, which just isn't going to work. However, out of all the old stuff I suppose this is pretty relatively nice and I do agree that they maintain it well (the entire LED lighting change must've cost a fortune).
-
It's hugely outdated, hugely boring and hugely not appreciated by anyone apart from those in their 90s. It's the tomb blaster of Blackpool. Bulldoze. Seriously.
-
Yup. Spinball, and all those cars and grass look hugely bright in real life too.
-
It's a real boring dark ride.
-
Definitely has a filter on, no way would the day have been that bright and colourful!

Hate that southparks has just become a branch of TT. Should've stayed dead and buried without bringing it back out and pissing on it's grave.
