  1. Stealth has one, its opposite the photos. Whether it works.. I dunno.Inferno and Saw have one as well. Neither worked the last time I went, the former hasn't been in use for years. I would definitely complain bigtime if I was a wheelchair user!
  2. Prefer this to the previous comment you changed .Err... post changer.
  3. Doubt it, UK disability laws are pretty strict on all new builds. If there's stairs, there'll be lifts. Then again, thorpe is very good at ensuring their lifts dont actually work ;)The Nemesis Inferno lift is next to the operators console, it goes down to the back of the volcano by the lockers. It used to have a very retro thorpe out of use sign accompanying it. I haven't been in a year though, so they may have updated the sign.
  4. I was honestly expecting depth charge to disappear before this (and on that note, WHY hasn't it? Awful throughput, awful thing, sticks out like a sore thumb... or have I gotten sidetracked onto their most recent "investment"?).Killing the calm rides... killing the relaxing areas and the genuinely nice areas to be around... is typical thorpe. Yeah, sure, one day they'll have just teens and twenties odd coming in... but with high unemployment for the youngens, worsening economic climate.. and the cycle thorpe has put itself in to constantly invest to keep people coming back.. will hurt eventually.I think the best part of growing up as a kid is becoming tall enough to ride rides you've been amazed with since a young age, and therefore bringing about a repeat audience. This is what families are about, and what thorpe is missing a trick with. Advertising and word of mouth can only go so far (and if you cock up, you're screwed).
  5. They have pre-registration forms up in nov/dec.. just incase you totally forget to apply a couple of months later... but the job adverts themselves are up in Jan
  6. Does not contribute well to the thread in question, the spoilsport!

    Lol, and god exists.
  8. Cost cutting at its worst. It's not like it'll ever be able to afford a new train either. So if one train gets screwed up big time.. then... well.. well done.
  9. To add:It's not difficult. Count up to 24 people. Split people up if they decide to go in one row, add more if loads go in front row. You're only on two trains now, it'll be easier than batching tomb blaster as you have more time.Think, this works in same principle as thirteen at towers. God that queue would be hell if that was left to guests to go anywhere (and vampire is hell to queue in the station, its the worst queue system of chessington).
  10. That's simply because people do not know whats best for them, either that or they're lazy.Get any of you lot up to towers, and you would die.
  11. God, some people really dont understand efficiency methods or customer service?Don't just presume they'll prefer it, or that its easier and better. It's far better with a bay loader. From a customer service aspect, from a throughput aspect, from a staffs aspect.

You need to go on a fairground one - or lightwater valley. It happens a LOT then
  13. Just look on spotify top lists - they generally play music which is available on here
  14. It'll be dead - 10-4, all rides open.Decent time probably, but lacking atmosphere and rather chilly!

Or if kept - moved to the bottom of the bloody page.
  16. Different ideas of safety and throughputs - although the flooring is uncomfortable, you wouldn't be able to cut your feet on them. Towers only allow non-shoed people on rides where you cannot put your feet on the floor - so air/nemesis. Every other one you have to wear them.
  17. Stop ****ing posting on here Kevvy K. There's only so many times people can rate your sodding profile picture. It's ruining the game. And for that, I now have a negative feeling about your avatar. You get 0.3/10
  18. All completely solved by having a batcher letting through up to 24 people once the bays are empty
  19. In regards to royalty free - does the park not pay a performance rights fee (I presume they do, considering they play whatever chart music they want anywhere they want). Therefore, it shouldn't matter what is played. As long as its been released to cd... so where's the Elfman tracks or anything else equally as epic? As RobD says... dire lack of effort.Music is one of the most important things in creating an atmosphere, yet it is always completely overlooked at thorpe.
  20. My god. If I heard that in 2011 we'd be discussing which chart music is playing on the forums a few years ago, I would've killed myself..
  21. I believe this is the difference between making stuff from scratch and using an IP... marketing NEED to be creative.(oh, and also they dont waste millions on aquiring the rights, which can be put into theming and marketing and the product itself)

Who cares, the kids will bloody love it. And that, my friends, is what matters
  23. Totally not related - but I wonder if "Lake View" can actually see much of the lake anymore?
