  1. I like your mix of rides ScunnyAdz. Things like The Ultimate and Jubilee Odyssey rarely get mentioned when it comes to rides so its nice to see every ride has someone who is a fan
  2. The only Maurer I outright dispise is G Force. So technically Maurer have a better hit rate then Intamin. Ain't even mad.
  3. Storm Surge must come from the same cloth as any Maurer ride. Guests like it but the thing is just technologically crap.
  4. I like it, clearly people do get lost in the hotels otherwise they wouldn't bother with a map.
  5. Are you going then?I've no problem with them experimenting, I just think they are horible people for discriminationg the older generation
  6. I'd go but apparently people in employment and with money to spend aren't invited.Yeah, cheers for that one Thorpe.
  7. That fastrack queue scares me. Thorpe are like the ultimate masters of manipulation to be honest, they've managed to make fastrack irresistable to paying guests. All the credit to them for it as well. No wonder I haven't been for ages. Thanks for the report Josh, looks like you had a good day to.
  8. See, I don't have a problem with that because even if they move up it's not as if you're going to get on the ride faster.
  9. Same with all theme parks really.

    Logger's Leap

You're having a laugh, over zealous moderating indeed.
  11. "If I wanted trees I'd go to a garden centre"
  12. Some very beautiful shots there again, fantastic camera you must have, but a camera is only as good as the person taking the photos.Agree with you on Chessington, despite being a small park it has so many nice areas of greenery. One thing you highlighted (which I'm glad you did) is Dragon Falls. In the summer that is the most beautiful ride of any Merlin park, somehow the greenery and flowers really make it stunning to look at.
  13. European MontuParc Asterix's new rollercoaster takes shape. I've renamed it EU Montu as a consequence.
  14. I voted for Hungarian Hungtail. I just really liked the dragon as it seemed very different to the other Inverters I've done around the world. Second could be Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit but that could be because we literally walked straight onto it. If I had queued an hour, I may not have put that second. It's very hard to properly judge though as we didn't queue for any of Universal Orlandos rollercoasters.. and we weren't going to queue 60 minutes for Hippogriff.
  15. I am sure the majority of cyclists are responsible, road safe abiding citizens who follow the highway code and never put themselves and others in danger. So why do I never meet any. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDAYkdlKEGI&NR=1 So many times in London, I am crossing a road at a pelican crossing and a cyclist comes right at you as he has gone straight through the red light. And they have the audacity to shout expletives at me for being in the road. Erm, you idiot, it's how traffic lights and crossings work, you douche bag.
  16. HAHA! That just really completes the rubbishness of Storm Surge doesn't it
  17. Is it a good thing, No. It's like the old saying goes, "Jack of all trades, master of none." Instead of trying to take over, what it seems the world, they should really make each attraction they currently have, the best it could possibly be.
  18. Really?!I've found enthusiasts the most unlikely people to accept long queues and shutdowns.
  19. I can pull that look though as I am actually Mexican.

  21. I love the way you take photos. I must admit I take them in the same way, either close up's so you can see guests reactions on rides or at a slight angle to make the ride look more imposing. gorgeous stuff.
  22. Looks amazing. I WANT B&M, SOMEONE GIVE ME B&M
  23. That sounds actually like my definition of a perfect ride. I think it explains a lot why I prefer family attractions or rides with stories actually becuase a lot of the time, an intense ride can rarely have the well themed queueline, well themed 'coaster area' or the throughput to match. The rides I chose really reflect different areas of rides. You've got the low throughput spectacle ride Detonator, which interestingly, despite the rides quality is the one ride people would queue the least for. I'm the same on that account except I'd queue a maximum of ten minutes for it.Dragon Falls is the ride which all three of you are happy to queue for (aside from fastrack issues ). And it's the queue with small benches as you go along.I find Air incredibly hard to queue for and I think that's because from the entrance you can't really see just how far back the queue goes. It has a high throughput but, I do find it somewhat of a chore. For similar reasons, I find Tomb Blaster equally as hard to queue for. It just feels so lumbering and you spend so long just standing outside, waiting to move again. Both of Expedtition Everest and Silverstar are throughput monsters and even with full queues are quite joyful experiences.
