  1. I get annoyed when people have to say "one last thing"IT'S NEVER THE LAST THING IF EVERYONE KEEPS CARRYING IT ON.

    The Smiler

I think we could close this topic for anothear year to be honest.
  3. Europa Parks Log Flume is also 1.2 metres. Baring in mind though, it was 1.2 metres last year
  4. STORM SURGE, GET OFF MY SPOTIFY.YOU AREN'T EVEN A PROPER RIDE.

    Random

I can think of things worse then the tsunami.Like getting into cars where locks just disappear.
  6. Vortex opened in June 2001. In March 2001 it was still a building site. Not its birthday yet.The current Zodiac is not the one that opened in 2001. Therefore, the pedant wins and it is Detonator only that celebrates its 10th birthday.
  7. Thing is, in Merlins eyes, they had their years last year. The problem beingn this year, that yet again, Thorpe comes across as the favourite and gets another ride (regardless of how cheap or bad Storm Surge is), whilst Cwoa has to make do with two rethemed restraunts and Alton gets a sealife downgrade.I'm just tired of Chessington being a park that is constantly overlooked. There is absoultely no reason why, with significant investment, Chessington couldn't get 2 million visitors. With the right attractions and the right emphasis placed, Chessington could be a high flyer like Legoland. But Tussauds and now Merlin don't seem interested. If Chessington had looked like they;d had something done this year like new toilets or maybe if Skyway and Runaway train had significant work done to them then it would make sense. But no, Runaway still looks a disgrace and Skyway has the same old 80's rejects wobbling back and forth.
  8. Same.. except I never saw it closed
  9. The thing is this restriction actually makes it in the ride stakes, more restrictive then Fury. That "if you are under 1.3 you must be accompanied by an adult" thing. If it does happens to Loggers, Thorpe are going to really struggle justifying it, at least Chessington has other family friendly rides...
  10. http://www.chessington.com/explore/mystic-east.aspxInteresting..
  11. True that. I'll just bring up Corkscrews excellent reliability then
  12. Anyone fancy a bit of Alton Towers tomorrow?
  13. I suppose really, the park shouldn't have reliability issues anymore because most of its rides are now over 5 years old. Back in like 2008 Thorpe could use the timeless excuse that its rides are new and are still throwing up unpredictable challenges. Not so anymore, loves
  14. Yes you are being slightly pedantic as I think the sign fits in its new home fine. It's on a major pathway at the entrance to Amity Cove, works for me. The lights might come to, afterall, a week ago we didn't even know if the sign was going to reutrn.

    This Or That

I got wet on Rumba Rapids. It wins.Cats or Dinosaurs?
  16. I know loads of you are well connected, so come on, why are all the water features on Storm Surge now off. The rides only been open a week and this week hasn't exactly been cold..
  17. Hiding the shoes in the shadows or at the back of platform was also a constant source of fun.
  18. The worst day. The best people. What a contradiction.
  19. I've always found it interesting that Intamin do this process. Those are some pretty tasty looking trains actually and the theming is looking outstanding so far.Shame about the ugly Intamin tree track thing really, the rest looks great.
  20. For all you doubters out there, the Amity Cove sign has returned.Oh and Tidal Wave IS the best water ride, if not the Uk then at Thorpe Park. It's fantastic !

    Legoland

We are writing with important information about the Exclusive Annual Pass Preview Weekend at LEGOLAND Windsor on the 26 & 27 March 2011.We have listened to feedback from guests who attended the Passholder Preview Days at THORPE PARK and Chessington Resort. The Parks experienced unprecedented and an unexpectedly high demand. We have implemented a number of measures to ensure an enjoyable experience for all those attending the LEGOLAND Windsor Annual Pass Preview Weekend. However we anticipate that this weekend will be extremely popular. * Firstly, there will be no access to the Park on the 26 & 27 March to Non – Annual Passholders. This event is exclusive to Annual Passholders only. There will be no guest tickets available. * Additional staff members will be working in all areas of the park during the weekend. * We are now opening The Beginning at 9.00am on both days to allow you time to visit the Annual Pass Room before the rest of the Park opens at 10am. * Both Annual Pass Rooms will be open all day, to give you the opportunity to process your Annual Passes throughout the day. * The Annual Pass Collector Bricks will be handed out from 9.30am at the Beginning outside the Big Shop.* * Half price Q-Bots will be available all day on the 26 & 27 March only. A valid Annual Pass must be shown for each guest wishing to rent the Q-Bot and receive the discount. This offer applies to Regular Q-Bots only that are rented in the Park on the 26 & 27 March 2011. Subject to availability. * Parking will be free for all Annual Passholders. This is exclusive to the Annual Pass Preview Weekend only. After the Preview Weekend standard parking prices will apply to LEGOLAND Standard and Standard Merlin Annual Passholders purchased after the 4th January 2011.My only thought is why have they started calling it LEGOLAND?!
