  1. I've been stuck on Inferno for half an hour in the break run and samurai wouldn't lower once. I usually get to watch the brekdowns.. theres so many but rarely am on it when it happens. Ooh actually thinking about it I was on Detonator when it wouldn't release the gondola.

There used to be this really cool hotel in Boscombe, was absolutely gorgeous. But then it got redeveloped and is now rubbish *sighs*

Thing is Cringle a lot of parks are having rides open, regardless of there "size". Southend has rides open all through the Winter, Alton is having a steam fair + oblivion, Cwoa is have 3 extra rides, Paultons whole park is open over Christmas, Blackpool is opening a few attractions over half term as well. So to say that Thorpe is doing something completely differnet is really far out there. Its only because of a blind fanbase that believes Thorpe are doing them a favour when really the whole Tussauds group is playing catch up.I'm avoiding it even if it will be an enthusiast ****-fest because there is nothing redeeming in going. Poor Rage a new ride which will knock Stealth for six is being completely ignored, its a shame that the rose tinted Thorpe glasses have come on here.

I'm a raging bisexual...well I like both although I've only been with 2 guys. My current relationship is now 10 months old, and I'm incredibly in love with him. So there you go.

Yes MY RIDE is closed. Its a bit to cold for Tidal wave at the moment.
  11. People read my posts. Oh. Dear. God
  12. My most distant memory was on my first visit in 1999. First ride we went on was Fish (queued 40 minutes ). I also remember being annoyed about the cul de sac by Loggers Leap and Calgary Stampede. Actually that annoys me about the arcade and Detonator.. there must be a quicker way :PMy favourite year for Thorpe was 2003. Tidal Wave was cemented as my favourite ride and I recall between 6 and 7:30 the park was absolutely dead leading to constantly running round doing Colossus the whole time. Fantastic.

Tidal Wave is Thorpe's second greatest asset. Anyone wants to argue with its popularity then I dare you to queue for it during the summer.

Thats a permanent structure though. Take The proposed flying island at Chessington that got refused on height issues despite the fact outside park opening hours it would never be at its full height. And its white because in a few years the rust will be noticeable so it will fit into amity cove more.**May be a lie.
  15. See the thing is Tidal Wave is less wet in colder weather. less people ride equalling a lighter boat meaning a smaller splash.. in theory .
