Posted December 24, 201311 yr comment_173585 I just found some footage shot by CoasterForce of the "World's Oldest Operating Steel Coaster" and wow, it even further proves the point that an attraction doesn't have to have a 'highest' or 'fastest' or 'loopiest' record attached to it for it to be a good ride. I just thought that there should be a topic where people could share rides like these that are brilliant but not massive or well known attractions. Enjoy
December 25, 201311 yr comment_173590 That's pretty epic! I like how it interacts with the scenery - definitely something more modern coasters lack! (I'm looking at YOU, Six Flags...)
December 25, 201311 yr comment_173597 That's pretty decent!!! What country is it in??? I'm guessing its in South America??
December 26, 201311 yr comment_173613 What a great small coaster. Looks very fun. A coaster doesn't need a worlds first or record holder to make it great.
December 30, 201311 yr comment_173726 Saw this on Great Continental Railway Journeys recently. Its is a beautiful thing! There's a short snippet about it in this episode (skip to 44:26), and it shows a POV of the ride from a slightly different perspective (namely, watching Michael Portillo's face!). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_pPB68i71c (tries and fails to embed a youtube video...)
