Benin
Having not followed this at all, I'm quite glad the layout is something a little bit different for once... Rather than the usual airtime hill upon airtime hill, indeed, I quite like the first hill a lot... EC!
EC!
Looks quite a lot like Shambhala but perhaps even better. I dont think it looks like Shambhala at all. It looks like a whole 2 thirds or the ride are extremely fast corners and turns until the large airtime hill, plus Shambhala is more about the airtime and this isn't, this should just make an incredibly intense low to the ground feeling type experience pognoi

Yeah this is definitely more twisty, bendy and more ground hugging and looks to have more forceful moments over airtime. Still looks a great ride though. Coaster
Why can't the UK get rides like this?! Imagine something on that scale meandering around Thorpe!
alexander
so, I'm here in South Carolina at the mo, and all the people I'm with despise theme parks, the park is a 3 hour drive away, and the only person eligable to drive is scared of heights and despises them most out of them all. Mark9
If you'e got your English driving license, just hire a car, get on websites like Theme Park Review and see if they are doing an open day/media day trip.

Matt 236
**blows off dust and cobwebs** From The Park that brought us Fury 325, comes another new addition for 2019. Copperhead Strike! This will be a launch coaster from Mack rides, featuring five inversions and two launches, one of which is actually on the airtime hill itself (interesting). The ride will reach speeds of 50 MPH, which may sound remarkably slow, but I will honestly say it’s more about the layout than speed on these types of rides. Check out the trailer and POV videos below. I like how Cedar Fair are theming up some of their newer additions.
Mark9
No one posted about this? Gosh, thats a shame. Not even Benin? Looks great, so great that Mack has kind of cracked America what with Time Traveller this year and now this.

Matt 236
Looks absolutely fantastic. I hope Cedar Fair get one of these as a replacement to Volcano!
Project LC
I do believe the park are still playing with the launches which is why the pov was released one launch at a time. I'm not sure if they are going to get faster but I suspect there is still some tweaking going on.
Mark9
Copperhead Strike looks excellent. When Mack get their pacing right, they are unstoppable.
JoshuaA
Surprised there is not a thread for Carowinds (not exactly a small park..) Copperhead Strike looks like the perfect coaster to round out the parks top 4, looks like quite a lot of fun. Edited March 26, 2019 by JoshC. It was buried but it exists ;)
