Posted August 31, 20168 yr comment_240753 Fright Nights finishes on 31st October and the season ends on 2nd November, does it? Nope! Saturday 5th November is 'services day' with the park open 10AM to 10PM with full ride and Fright Night maze line up, free parking, limited tickets so minimal queues and no fastrack, and tickets only £18.50! This is for emergency service (including NHS staff) and armed forces personnel only run through 'blue light card' and 'defence discount service', but they can take their families so if you know anyone in these professions it may be worth being friendly to them around about now!
August 31, 20168 yr comment_240780 Do you know if ALL rides are open for this? Alton Towers ran one before and didn't open a couple of the big onesSent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
August 31, 20168 yr Author comment_240783 All Towers had shut were The Smiler (it hadn't reopened after the incident at that point) and Air/Galactica (was still in transition and yet to open from its referb), along with the closed for 2016 selection that haven't opened since. I think Spinball had some issues on the day too. Everything is supposed to be open, but things can go down of course. Who knows if we'll see the return of DBGT by then?!
September 4, 20168 yr comment_240941 I am there for this Do you think they'll put in extra effort for the last ever day of it?Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk

September 17, 20168 yr Author comment_241432 ...so, ask your Mum! It's in the first post - it's run by 'blue light card' which she'll be eligible to join if she's care giving NHS staff.
October 6, 20168 yr comment_242499 I went to the Alton Towers one in March (or so) this year ... it was hugely disappointing. Very understaffed, majority of the food stalls closed. Although that could have been the "reopening" issues. Love to go but sadly my ambulance driving friend is working!
October 6, 20168 yr comment_242565 do you HAVE to go with someone who works in the emergency services? or can the person in the services just buy the tickets for you and you go?

I'm not sure if I am allowed to post the specific date due to social media rules in my contract, as you can appreciate I do not want to get the sack!
