Ricky
Stealth is one of the safest launch coaster's at present! The only other way would be to launch vie LIM's and its not done that way, there is still the chance that someone can get hurt.

Ricky
I'm sure there are accelerators that have inversions.
TimR
I'm sure there are accelerators that have inversions. There are, but Stealth can't be as it isn't the right type of accelerator, also it would have to break before doing a loop becuase the G-Force would be too strong if it was going through a standard loop at 70+mph. themeparkmad
Also, Not all rides are designed or need inversions.
Paul
Also, Not all rides are designed or need inversions.Exactly, there are many classic rides that I love that don't have inversions.

themeparkmad
Vampire, Dragon's Fury and Rattlesnake are all great rides, and they don't have inversions!
rossafc
I find coasters without inversions are often better than coasters with inversions.
Ricky
Don't forget the woody's! even though I don't like them.

Andrew H
Yes, flying fish with a loop, If every coaster had the same inversion that would just be boring.
Sebastian96
Inversions can make a coaster what it is, Colossus for example, but for every single coaster to have a loop would be silly as there would be no kiddy coasters or coasters for the less adventurous among us. A classic woodie does not invert yet still provides a great experience like many other coasters that dont have inversions.
tomathy
I like stealth just the way it is as it offers a different adrenaline rush than thorpe park's other coasters!
Mark9
Yeah ive seen pics of xcellerators launch and it doesn't look as safe as stealth's , probably because stealth is newer!Just beacuse ive only made a few posts doesn't mean I'm stupid!Stealth hasn't injured people due to a ride malfunction and xcellerator has, I'm sorry but it's a fact and therefore stealth must be safer to a certain degree!RANT OVER!It can still injure people... It may be newer, but remember, Xceleator has been running for 4 more seasons then Stealth.Intamin Accelerators cannot have loops as far as I know.Just wrong, many Intamin accelerators have some kind of loop or inversion. Kaneon, Storm Runner, the one linked. Also, Not all rides are designed or need inversions.Yex, exactly, Inversions don't make rides better. tpman
I think that inversians do make a ride beter because of the up-side-down feeling.
Sebastian96
I much prefer the force and adrenalin asociated with Stealth's launch more than any inversion. A loop wouldnt make me as nervous as my first ride on Stealth did
