Matty22
anything about the chessie website.I have always wondered does it have on it a section saying " rides current;y unavailble"
Paul
No it doesn't have a box like ThorpePark.com has, although it has the rides currently unavailable information scrolling along the top of the page.
themeparkmad
Chessington's website does not need a box saying the rides unavailable for three reasons...1. It can make it unique and different from Thorpe Park's website.2. Chessington's reliability for rides and attractions is a lot higher than Thorpe Park's.For the sake of every now and again adding to the scroll 'so and so' is currently unavailable will not do the website any harm.3. I personally feel that if a website has a 'Rides Currently Unavailable' box; This can make guests assume that the park has bad reliability of its attractions.(Whether true or not!) D4n
I like the Chessington website, very family friendly. I do think that a 'Rides currently unavailable' box should be added when a ride is shut, and then they can just delete it when all the rides are open. Kevin
I like the Chessington website, very family friendly. I do think that a 'Rides currently unavailable' box should be added when a ride is shut, and then they can just delete it when all the rides are open. It would have it, but the only rides this year that have had more than 5 hours of downtime are Griffins and Rameses?
StevenVig
Unavailable Rides are shown on the Scrolling Ticker. No need for a box

themeparkmad
I wonder when the Park will introduce the new logo to the website...Would be nice to see it on there before the start of the 2010 season to sort of emphasise the "newness" of the 'World of Adventures' theme etc.

James6
Yeah I saw this a few days ago, I think it's fantastic. Especially in comparison to Thorpe's
MikeyT
Well this is absolutely fantastic. Looking through the site- I'm loving all the promotional images there, and all the little concept art for Wild Asia in the drop down menus. Awesome site, well done to all involved. electricBlll
So, both Thorpe Park and Chessington now have fantastic new websites. At least Chessington's is a bit more sane than the other one, whilst being great and adventerous.
themeparkmad
It certainly does look amazing! I actually prefer this one to the previous!
Paul
I love the new website, spot on. I love how the theming of Wild Asia has been used across the park as well (especially in the new admissions fencing/theming), rather than just in the area itself. I love that this has been done, and it really emphasises the 'adventure' of a day out at Chessington, rather than it just being a generic theme park. Really impressed with all of the recent changes. Coaster XTREME
I like the new site. It's like Thorpe's site, but better, more colourful, less tacky and less irritating. Just found a mistake on the subscribing page Consent I'd like to receive news and offers from THORPE PARK and other Merlin Entertainments Group Attractions. Fail .
