AHW Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 Welcome to the Fastrack topic. Discuss anything relating to Fastrack here...To start of, Will Rush, Slammer and Samurai be having Fastrack this season? And will Unlimited Fastrack be on sale?
0 themeparkmad Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 Couldn't agree more, but the thing is Thorpe know people will still pay that if its very busy. Do not jump on me if you don't approve of Fastrack as this is my opinion.I always try to advoid Fastrack where ever possible when I visit Thorpe Park. However, I don't visit Thorpe Park often unfortunately and I am prepared to pay £9 for a Fastrack if it is going to approve my day out.Ultimate FastrackI have only ever purchased one Ultimate Fastrack at Thorpe Park which was last season. However, I am planning to purchase one during the Fright Night events providing they are not sold out before I get there!I think Ultimates are worth purchasing once every season at a maxamum at Thorpe due to the high price for them per person.
0 Jamie W Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 Okay, no offence to Thorpe, but that does take the biscuit a little bit; seeing as they are virtually charging an extra 20% on top of the original price for just one new ride.Actually, its 50% extra, bearing in mind it used to be £40 at the beginning of season!
0 TimR Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 Actually, its 50% extra, bearing in mind it used to be £40 at the beginning of season!I thought it was £50.
0 themeparkmad Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 I thought it was £50.I also thought it was £50 at the start of the 2009 season.
0 TimR Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 I though it was £40 at the start of last season.
0 thorpey Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 It was definetly £50 at the start of THIS season
0 Jamie W Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I thought that it was £40 during Thrill Chill and the first few weeks of season, and then went up to £50 when SAW-The Ride was included in the package after the Easter Holidays.
0 StevenVig Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 Ultimate Fastrack has ALWAYS been £50 before Saw - The Ride was added. Take it from me, I spent over £350 on Ultimate Fastrack in 2007 & 2008
0 Jamie W Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 Ultimate Fastrack has ALWAYS been £50 before Saw - The Ride was added. Take it from me, I spent over £350 on Ultimate Fastrack in 2007 & 2008Ok, sorry guys, my mistake!
0 Dan9 Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 Ultimate Fastrack has ALWAYS been £50 before Saw - The Ride was added. Take it from me, I spent over £350 on Ultimate Fastrack in 2007 & 2008Apart from every single year until 2007 .
0 Ricky Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 I dont see the point in ultimate fastrack, its really a waste of money! You lose all sence of queueing and the tense atmosphere building up as you get closer and closer to the ride!
0 rossafc Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 But 2 hour queues can be VERY boring :PAlthough it I also think it is a waste of money, I think all fastrack is a waste of money.
0 themeparkmad Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 Don't hate me but...I agree with Fastrack 100%.I think it is good that you can pay for the privelidge (sp?) to Fastrack a Ride and / or Attraction. However, I think if that the Fastrack of Extreme and Accelerator increases over £9. Then they will be taking the p**s.Ultimate FastrackI honestly agree with the Ultimate Fastrack system. This is great for a once a year / once every two year treat. I do that that £60 is rediculous as I would have thought £50 would have been more than enough considering the amount of money Thorpe Park probably make on Fastrack alone. It is a personal choice whether people purchase Fastrack on their visit(s) to Thorpe Park.
0 rossafc Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 I agree with you in a way.I think that fastrack is a good system but I never get it, for me I think it is a waste of money, although for some one who only visits once or twice a year, it would be worth it.

0 rossafc Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 queue jumping is unfair.Dont you hate it when people try and go infront of you in the queue's
0 themeparkmad Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 Dont you hate it when people try and go infront of you in the queue's Just don't let anyone go pass you in the queue line.I usually always say to people that you are queue jumping and you can be removed from the park for this so you need to go back. And usually they do. (Thank God! )FastrackFastrack is also good if you get really bored in a queue easily

It is £6.All other Fastrack rides with a Fastrack queue are £3 each with single fastrack.
0 Ricky Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 I doubt the queue time will exceed an hour and a half even for a friday it wont reach that long.
0 TimR Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 I doubt the queue time will exceed an hour and a half even for a friday it wont reach that long. The queue was two hours today...
