Posted February 28, 201114 yr comment_109639 The two new lands of the southern parks. Both have the best themeing in their parks. But which is better overall. This can include themeing, quality of ride and shops. FIGHT!!
February 28, 201114 yr comment_109641 Neither have the best theming in their parks...But Wild Asia has Lorikeets and Banyan <3
February 28, 201114 yr comment_109643 I voted for Wild Asia. But to be honest both aren't that impressive. One is a collection of rethemed (alebit, very well rethemed attractions) with a disko and the others is a rough as hell, dull Gerstlauer eurofighter coupled with a boat.Easy win for Wild Asia.
February 28, 201114 yr comment_109645 Chessington's land, suits it's 'world of adventure' and Kobra is a lot of fun.The Saw island, is a pile of rubble and fences.Wild Asia.
February 28, 201114 yr comment_109672 Wild Asia, proberly gets it from me, but saw alive is very well themed well inside at least
February 28, 201114 yr comment_109674 In assosiation to Saw, What do you expect? A nicely decoarted mansion with tulips and flowers? of course your guna see rubble and a bad looking island. It goes witht he general theme of saw.

A beautiful exterior, hiding the horror and torture, the death and gore... the ride section that is apparently well themed but is just track in the dark with the occasional prop. YEAH
March 1, 201114 yr comment_109693 I would think there are other ways to make something look old and tatty, without throwing thousands of broken bricks and rubble into the area. It amazes me, the park are then shocked when someone launches a brick from the top of Colossus. What do you expect from your target audience, when bricks and rubble are so handy? You could almost add marker pens on the back of all the toilet stalls doors too!
March 1, 201114 yr comment_109698 Has to be Wild Asia for me too. It suits what the park is all about, different themed areas in the world, Far East, Asia, ect.The Saw island, IMO, has just been plonked there and it does'nt seem to fit in as well as it could've.

March 3, 201114 yr comment_109786 I think... What settles this is that Ricky voted for Wild Asia Well, I didnt say I prefered it just wanted to know why people say saw looks aweful when it's meant to :') I do like Wild Asia, Its calming and fun.
March 12, 201114 yr comment_110513 The Saw Island just doesn't fit in with Thorpe Park and I think they overdid it abit with Saw Alive. But I have to agree that the theming on Saw is generally fantastic.
June 2, 201114 yr comment_117007 I do adore Saw (tehe it ryhmed) but Wild Asia is so well themed and the rides suit the park! Also Chessie has Monkey Swinger
June 6, 201114 yr comment_117307 Iv'e not visited Chessington in about 5 years so I've not actually been to wild Asia, hence the fact I voted for the Saw Island but both of them are fantastically themed, however wild Asia does tie in well with Chessingtons' theme of adventure so I suppose, if I'd actually visited it, I'd have voted for it instead.

I haven't been to Six Flags Magic Mountain so I could hardly vote in a topic asking what my favourite rollercoaster there is.
June 11, 201114 yr comment_117630 This is so true! In assosiation to Saw, What do you expect? A nicely decoarted mansion with tulips and flowers? of course your guna see rubble and a bad looking island. It goes witht he general theme of saw.

Its supposed to look like a worn down, unused warehouse! Not a greatly looked after, well maintained building haha!
June 11, 201114 yr comment_117632 I do adore Saw (tehe it ryhmed) but Wild Asia is so well themed and the rides suit the park! Also Chessie has Monkey Swinger I like Chessington, but in my opinion it isnt as fun as Thorpe Park. But thats just me, I like the thrill and excitement, whereas Chessington I find is more a family park and a sometimes relaxed day out with the kids

I feel that they are trying to make Chessi the family day out with fun rides and make Thorpe the thrill seekers exciting day out with loads of screams. I also feel that because Thorpe have completely got rid of the children and baby area for another ride. If their target audience was for the family, they would want more of those types of areas. Not to be to picky... but if you haven't been then you shouldn't really vote. I haven't been to Six Flags Magic Mountain so I could hardly vote in a topic asking what my favourite rollercoaster there is.This is true, but I guess you can go by pictures and other materials? June 11, 201114 yr comment_117640 This is true, but I guess you can go by pictures and other materials? In a sense, but not really... it's like when people watch concerts on TV and just think "Hey that was kinda cool", then people who actually went to it come back like "OMG BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE"... obviously that's an exaggerated example but it's the same principle, you can't feel the atmosphere through pictures. The Saw island feels totally lifeless in comparison to Wild Asia... Also a quick hint, if you click on the multi-quote button on all the posts you want to reply to and THEN click 'add reply', you can reply to all the messages you want to in one single post... easier to read for everyone else.

Yeah I suppose, you get the whole feeling and the atmosphere around the area! But I suppose I mostly go to Thorpe Park in Halloween so the Saw Island is a complete different experience! and thank you, I'm new to all this
June 12, 201114 yr comment_117667 This is true, but I guess you can go by pictures and other materials?Again, judging by pictures certain rides look amazing whilst others look terrible. Even in pictures the Saw Island looks crap so... meh each to their own.
June 16, 201114 yr comment_117963 Based on rides then Saw Island clearly wins hands down but for scenary I've gone for Wild Asia, although the theming for SAW is good and it suites the rides mood I cant help but thinking how ugly some of it is lol
