pluk
ohhhh, I luv the Mau5.But the idea he would do an underage disco is stupid. So is the idea of an underage disco. An all the family live music and fireworks extravaganza, yes. If your gonna do it, do it properly Thorpe.

Marc
Whats wrong with that? Is it not a good thing they are asking their target what thye would like at their event?

By say, not having the event at all?

NickD
Never understood the whole 'Nightclub without alcohol' thing... would be very surprised if this didn't fail. Kabz, seems unfair for you to say that. Usually the point of people going out and clubbing is to drink etc.
Marc
Its for under 18s so they cant sell alcohol legally, I'm sure there will be alcohol at any over 18 ones!

Running an Over-18s event requires more planning and resources than an under-18's. This is purely because there is a bigger risk that something could go wrong, because the night is alcohol fuelled. Diesel
Like what Jack said tpkabz, the whole point of a clubbing night out is to get smashed. Nobody goes to a night club for a 'quiet drink', they go to get drunk, get laid and have a good night. I can assure you the park knows what is in store for them when they arrange events such as Ministry Of Sound Club Nights and the event will be heavily monitored by security. Just because you go to a club, does not mean you have to get smashed out of your face, and you dont always get laid... You go out to have a good time, not everyone enjoys their night in the same way.....

If me and my friends want to get smashed off our faces, we have a night in with a bottle of vodka. For me and many others, Thorpe is miles away from home. I wouldn't want to get that drunk with a 2 hour journey home, because I would want to get home.
