March 1, 201510 yr comment_203833 Towers is definitely a Resort. There's no denying it. God knows what those calling for a 'Resort' require to make it one!
March 1, 201510 yr Author comment_203856 As above - it is a resort, but I think they could do more 'resorty' things to make it feel more like one. Opening hours don't help although I appreciate they can't open late into the night, but at present, the theme park feels very detached from the hotels.
March 30, 201510 yr comment_206146 IMAScore have announced via their Facebook that they're producing music for the Enchanted Village. *Covers ears from the squeal of fanboys everywhere*
March 30, 201510 yr comment_206147 You're not a proper IMAScore fan unless you buy one of their shirts...
April 8, 201510 yr comment_206779 Thought this would be the best thread to plug this. My family are planning on spending a few days at Alton Towers in the first couple of weeks of the summer holidays (My parents never thought of doing this until I started work at LEGOLAND - given that I have 50% discount off Merlin hotels). So for the past couple of days, I've been on the website to look at the accomodation and their prices. When I looked yesterday, these were the rankings of expenses (1 = Expensive/3 = Cheapest): 1. Enchanted Village 2. Alton Towers Hotel 3. Splash Landings Hotel ...but when I looked today, they had changed! 1. Alton Towers Hotel 2. Enchanted Village 3. Splash Landings Hotel I was happy to see that Splash Landings had remained the cheapest, but are hotel prices changing every day, or do they stand according to the date of arrival (as I was browsing through possible dates of when we would possibly go)? Some help would be appreciated.

Dont forget AP discount - not sure if thats available online?

November 17, 20159 yr comment_223582 *blows dust* I was just looking at booking the Enchanted Lodges in the autumn but I was met with a surprise. Were the lodges always going to be closed during the Winter Season or? Not very good for their new accommodation but the over-priced tree-houses are still bookable...
November 17, 20159 yr comment_223583 We asked earlier in the year and were told that the lodges are pre-booked as part of packages for company christmas parties.
