It's entirely possible that after being closed for such a long time there are small niggles they want to iron out. The fact they closed it and ran the queue through indicates it's not a major issue

Most of the time the zero problems are the main arm not finding it, the pods seem to find their correct position pretty quickly.

The first Sunday of fright nights is notorious, happens at towers too just as bad.

Whilst obviously the main queue will move quicker with less fastrack, it's hardly the cause of all the issues at the park yesterday.

It will be fine. Not being open for an internal preview event really has no / little bearing on it being ready for Annual Pass preview. I do believe Containment on the other hand isnt open and has been advertised as such.

I believe you were meant to get a bit of a "shock" from the fence but I think it was removed before it even opened to the public (not really surprising!)

X was strongly rumoured to go last year, Slammer, lets face it could go at any point and Loggers leap has been closed numerous times throughout the year with issues - none of that would surprise me in the slightest.

I don't see how a ride closing for extra maintaince over the closed season means the park is in bad times... Everyone would just moan if it opened in April / May.

Maybe tidal wave needs additional work to it over closed season so it's closed early to ensure they have ample time to complete this?

https://www.thorpepark.com/resort-information/getting-here/ Looks like the park are continuing to struggle - 5pm Closes on weekends now. Also looks like the last week is now 10-4. Lets hope this dark ride gives them the boost they need!

Rows are shut off to make it easier for staff - noting to do with it stalling. On Colossus every bar needs to be raised before you can re-lock them , on dead timed that's alot of effort so it's acutely more efficient to run with less seats

Are you suggesting the park should limit its capacity just incase annual pass holders turn up? As nice as that would be it's not very realistic during a time the park often hits capacity.

The issue comes when people (some openly on these forums) state they are booking multiple free tickets they have no intention of using, whats going to fix this? A tiny charge. Not sure how compulsary booking will be, if you turn up early I'm sure you will have no issue gettung in not being prebooked- if you turn up late on a peak day I can see you having issues getting in without pre booking.

Whilst it may look like that it won't be the case - Colossus spent the last few weeks on 1 train due to the other needing repairs.
