  1. Sorry to go off topic, but I'll explain. When they reprofiled the first drop on the Big One my mate managed to get this peice of track off the guys doing the work. In the end he ran out of room to store it, so he gave it to me for a few quid and I just had to go to London to get it.It's now in my back garden, and makes a comfy seat.
  2. I'm sitting on it in my avatar image
  3. I prefer Dragon's Fury to Spinball also. The first drop on DF is great fun.
  4. I love this ride. A day at Chessington would'nt be complete with a go.
  5. I love this ride. It's my second favorite after Nemesis. If it does go, I want to be on the last ever ride, and take some memory back with me, like a spare part or something, to go with the peice of PMBO track in my back garden.First the Beast, then the Black Hole, why not get rid of the tacky rides like Oblivion And Rita?

I think it's meant to be in the Lost City, but who knows. I say melt it down for the war effort and put something half decent in that pyramid.
  7. It's not like the smell of mud down here It's that musty type smell.
  8. I agree with Georgie. There is always one swing that is about one second out from the other swing at the top.
  9. There is a layby on the park side of the road opposite the Chained Oak B&B. Cross the road from the layby and there is a gravelly/ muddy path going down behind the guesthouse. It's about a 10 minute walk, you cant miss the tree on your right hand side in a big clearing.Me and Mum went there a couple of years ago. It's a shame those branches came down. Scarily though, the surrounding air did smell like the wafting aroma in the ride at the park.
  10. :PErrrr, any takers, because I have'nt got a bloomin clue.
  11. I don't know how to post pics, let alone distort them, but that looks like my 2nd favorite woodie, Grand National, Pleasure Beach, Blackpool Can someone post a pic for me please? Thanks.
  12. RE is one of those deceptive rides. You think "ah nothing to it" but when you get on it its a totally different matter. Great ride
  13. Sorry, but Duel was better when it was just a normal Haunted House. Give me Tomb Blaster anyday.
  14. Does anyone else find that duck in the enclosed section scary? I think it was on the lift of the dark drop.
  15. I agree with Patrick about the dullness of RR, especially after having been on some of the rapids rides in Europe, especially River Quest in Phantasialand. I find Alton Towers rapids a lot better than Thorpes for this country. The wetter the better
  16. Not sure when I will be there next, but I hope Rush is open. Stealth has only been down once all the times I have been there.
  17. Stealth launch and brake. Colossus cobra roll, the noisest bit of the ride. Rush, Inferno in general, (B&M's always sound good) and Tidal Wave coming down the drop, I love that rumble and then nothing but the sound of water then screams.
  18. I prefered it before Imperial Leather stepped in and ruined it. Still go on it though, but why so many ducks
  19. Oh blimey. I must be the oldest on here then, 30, yikes
  20. Here's mine.http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=E-JETcajubw
  21. Yep, the other one being Rollercoaster at gt Yarmouth. I would'nt mind but it was a listed building
  22. The scene at Margate today. Another classic coaster is taken away from us http://www.kentonline.co.uk/kol08/article/...rticle_id=39861
  23. I like eggs in any form, but went for scrambled, great in sarnies.
