JENSEN Button...Tooth Fairy or Mutli-Surface Cleanser?
  2. Thorpe's coaster are on a 3 year schedule since Nemesis Inferno - (2003), Stealth (2006) and SAW (2009), it's expected that the next major coaster at Thorpe will be built in 2012. Inferno was built just a year after Colossus to help manage the enormous new gate figures that Colossus brought in, since then, the 3 year schedule was instated.

    Rush

Skyhawk... good looking!? You have got to being having a jolly! It easily steals the ugly crown from Rush. And Rush was a prototype, so it was never going to be perfect.
  5. Let's play a LOVE GAME...

  6. Some food for thought... Just what did happen to the plans for the windmill? I'm no expert but I still don't see one, and I'm not too sure whether the plans for it where actually dropped when the SAW them came into place.

  9. I like Nemesis Inferno's because it's Nemesis Inferno. But my favourite (in terms of safety) are Stealth's.

    Slammer

Can I just say, that the time you spend queuing for Slammer will be the most well spent queuing time you've ever done. Slammer is one hell of an experience and never fails to give an extremely intense performance. The hang-time and G-force are incredible, and the first forward swing creeps up on you like nothing you've ever felt.
  11. That's because Detonator was made by a manufacturer called 'Fabbri', they're a relatively small, Italian ride manufacturer who also made Quantum. The 'Mega-Drop' (Detonator) was originally meant to be 40 meters, when it was debuted in 2000, but Runnymede wouldn't allow it when Thorpe bought Detonator in 2001. The ride is meant to be for travelling fairs so that's why there aren't many in established parks.
  12. No, Hurakan doesn't have pneumatic pumps at the top like Detonator, Hurakan is pure freefall.
  13. That's weird, tbh I actually got bored of Hurakan Condor because it takes so long to reach the ground. And the drop is a bit wimpish when compare to Detonator's.
  14. Kudos to that one! Maybe public transport would be on time for once...
  15. Very unlikely, onride video's are still going through the testing process, they look to be on-sale near the start of May.

  17. 1) I wish my iPhone didn't pack up and p**s off to Devon rubbish tips.2) I wish they would make rollercoasters for ducks. (One spots a gap in the market... Quick, someone ring Dragon's Den!)3) I wish I had just one more idea for a wish because I can't think of anything else.

    Random

You can do it too, with Kandoo!
  19. Even so, if you sit facing Stealth, it's very hard to hear the countdown, let alone any announcements. What gets me everytime is how you can only see the ground in the distance, because the restraints don't let you look down. It's also scary being lifted up because not being able to see the ground means that I'm not quite sure when I've reached the top, so it's always a massive surprise when I hear that clunk as I reach the top.

    Slammer

Wooo! My baby Slammer's working again! :PThorpe really need all their rides open at this time of the year, hopefully Slammer will help spread the queue times so they're slightly more managable.

  22. Diagonal....ish, I think. I really hope it's working by May. I love that ride too much to miss it when I finally drag my butt up to Thorpe.
