I will probably watch Outnumbered tonight. The debate is something I'm taping as well as watching! XD The debate is very interesting - as some predicted, Nick Clegg seem to be doing well, really has got a 'TV friendly' personality. However, Gordon Brown's pick tie is really annoying me!

Went today. Was rather annoyed with my friends who all eventually bailed out on me (some even bailing out when I was at the park), leaving me by myself. However, it didn't deter me as I knew there was a strong possibility it will be the last time I go before my GCSEs go in full swing. Got there at about 9:20 and the gates opened about 5 minutes later. Head over to Inferno for its first circuit and got 3 rerides straight away. Fantastic! Headed over to Detonator and got on that's first circuit as well. Did Rumba Rapids with 2 rerides. Headed over to Stealth, used the SRQ - I was too lazy to walk into the queue - and was eventually told after a minute or two to just find somewhere to go as there was little queue. Got on, sat down and it was broken down. Waited a couple of minutes and couldn't be bothered to wait any more, so left.Headed over to Loggers Leap and got a good ride on that. Wandered over to Saw Alive, there was about a 15 minute queue, so decided to grab the opportunity whilst it was there. Queue was moving much slower today. Was right at the back thankfully. Not much better really. More info in its own topic, but it suits the 2/10 I had gave it. Did Flying Fish once afterwards. Moved back over to CC and had to goes on Rocky Express. Was half-12ish so had lunch, followed by 2 goes on CCR. I then thought I saw Mike Vallis (general manager) and asked if it was him - which it was. He's a very nice guy and seems like a great GM for the park. I asked to have a photo with him, and the other guy he was with took the photo. Not knowing who he was, he asked if I wanted a photo with him, and I said no (I thought he was joking as I thought he was an ordinary person) and then Mr Vallis said he was a very important person for the park also. Felt like a bit of a snob and an idiot and - regrettable - didn't get a photo with the other person. The most annoying thing is, I can't remember his name!! Then had a little chat about TPM and RG, and that was that. He also asked for me not to post the picture of FB, which is perfectly understandable. Headed over to Time Voyagers and did that. Amazingly, you get wetter on that now then you do on Rumba Rapids. Did the Fish 2 more times. Wandered round the park, refusing to do any of the long hour+ queues myself. Did Rocky Express and CCR once and wandered round the park again, eventually deciding to do Flying Fish again. By this time, queues were ridiculously high. Saw and Colossus had their queues overflowing, Inferno on all of its extensions open, and Stealth huge. Alive's queue was full. All the flats were an hour+. Was about to head home, but had a random spur of the moment, and did Depth Charge with a 20min queue. That ended the day for me.Overall, a relatively good day for the park. Being by myself gave me more chance to just look at the park and detach myself from any enjoyment form company. I realise just how on form the park is. Granted, I dislike the rebrand, but the park is still very good this season. ^What gets me is when they say every vote counts. Surely the election won't be decided on a single vote. Okay, if loads of 'ones' don't vote, it will have an affect, but just one one.. Most of the time, there's a clear indication as to who will win in the first place, and - as you have read - you have such a small effect, you do wonder what is the point. TBH, as long as you're a law abiding person, you have every right to bitch, whether you vote or not.

Oooh!! I knew that :PYour ideas were well thought out and they would work well if implemented. In the end, any criticisms in here are so small they're pointless posting most of the time.

Seemed the most appropriate place to put this..As many on here will know, I live in Chertsey. Unfortunately, this means that a lot of traffic heading towards TP is near me, and I get to watch to lovely queues that can build up. Yesterday and today, traffic has been going from the Twnersh roundabout, all down through Chilsey Green Road and Pyrcroft Road and up to Bell Bridge (over Chertsey Train station). All some points, it has even reached Sir William Perkins School over the bridge. It is like this more or less from 9:30-11. Whenever this happens, the park is usually closed off at some point during the day as it hits capacity - but as far as I'm aware, this has not been the case yet, though I do think the park has been close to hitting capacity of both these days. Before anyone asks, these cars aren't people by themselves or in work uniform - they are with teens / families / etc. Anyone who has twigged on will realise that this traffic is building after the park opens. So basically, I'd advise anyone who is planning on going before the end of the holidays (particularly tomorrow and Friday) to get there for before opening - especially if you pass through Chertsey - to avoid this. I know what I'm saying is slightly obvious and a bit pointless, but I wouldn't be surprised if tomorrow or Friday sees the park hit capacity.

The staff have been having many problems with that this season. In the end, it's a simple thing of making it easier for them. After all, it's not that hard to walk an extra 20 odd steps, is it? It shocks me how many people call it steam! Surely that would hurt just a little? Do you like to act better than others? You seem to look down at people, yet you don't seem much different to them.

Never visited the park before, didn't have any intentions to either if I'm honest. However, a theme park closing is a sad sight nonetheless.

There's only 1 live camera. It shows when the entire group is in the SWAT room, so the actor turns around ehen everyone is in. The rest are prerecorded. I do believe they show empty queues, so... I know it is highly unlikely, but I spose there's a chance but it could have been an accident. If an actor gets a bit too close when grabbing someone's legs, it could happen. However, this whole thing seems rather implausible.

Hello all, just got a quick update for anyone who is interested about how the site's been coming along.Basically, due to GCSEs and commitments over on Ride Guide, the project is on hold. I just haven't got enough time to sort any of it out. However, once all my exams are over in mid-June, I'l have plenty of time on my hands, so will work on the site over the summer holidays.For the 'relaunch', I'll have plenty of photos and hopefully a couple of videos for the site. A logo and site layout and colour scheme are planned out and will be sorted as well. Thanks to all those who have checked the site out. Of course, any suggestions and ideas are greatly appreciated.

The thing is, these searches have been very inefficient in the past and do cause a lot of inconvenience. Granted, it is for safety, but still. Okay, there's probably not a better way to do it, but for people who have the bad luck of experiencing it, then it is really bad. Some may remember Phill from here, who I think was searched on 2 separate occasions - with each time lasting 45mins..

I agree with you there. There aren't that many theme parks I can think of here that are adventure based. Chessie and Mingo are the only 2 UK parks that spring to my mind. I know about the debate that happened ages ago saying how this isn't meant to be realistic, but if you do a TP one, it would more be the scare stuff, as that's what they're aiming for. But I still look forward to your ideas nonetheless. Neither would I. But it still doesn't mean I don't spend four days (or more) think of future plans for Thorpe in my head - however realistic or not!

Your right that the maze is about the films.However, I see no point in expanding the franchise further at the park. A scare zone, yes, that would work - but no more. In the end, I'd personally want 1 excellent attraction than 3 mediorce ones.

Hate to be picky, but the Rack Trap in the indoor queue will have to go as well. I'd also guess the 'Let the Games Begin', 'Face Your Fears', etc. would have to be removed. But yeah, there isn't that much Saw related.. Should've more been SAW - Almost The Ride

If some rumours are to be believed, there's a weak connection between the two sides. I'd guess the contract would be for 5 years (so 2014) but could be extended. However, Adam's heard 2016. Some have heard earlier, some later. To be honest, I think the best answer to give is no one really knows.

I do s'pose it is down to luck at times. However, when you get bad luck (like myself it would seem) it can ruin the experience - but likewise, if you have good luck (like yourself), then it can create a great experience. Despite my negative views I have on the maze at the moment, I will be trying all throughout the year, hoping I get some better luck. As for me, there was also a lot of smoke in the fourth room. However, it more ruined it as I couldn't see that much and the actor didn't utilise this. Guess it can also depend on what actor you get.Wait, there's a Billy video? Where's that meant to be - SWAT room scene? :PEDIT: Hang on a minute, just had a thought from looking at your signature. When you went in Alive one time, did you or someone who you were with volunteer to go to the front of the conga line because the girls at the front didn't want to go first. I know it's a long shot, but they said they'd been in it something along the lines of what it says in your sig.

In some ways, I'm surprised at how open to abuse the old system was! . However, it's good to see a fair, firm system in place.

How's that negative?! I'd much rather 2 more actors in Saw Alive - thus improving it. I personally think it would add more to Alive's experience than the ride's experience. As for the whole eerie idea, some may find it more eerie with actors, some may not. It's personal choice. Looking back, not sure if I made it clear, but by manikin, I meant like the one they have in the razor wire trap - very life like, etc. and make it look dead. Personally, I would find that much eerier. Getting any of what? I'm adding my views. Is that wrong now?

Honestly, I'd rather see no actors there and put the 2 they would have there in Saw Alive. Just stick a manikin in the trap; would look errier.

I thought it was always like that? A couple of years ago my nan was denied a wristband because she had no doctor note - despite the fact she geniunely couldn't queue. Next time, we went with a doctor's note and all has been fine ever since.
