  1. They do do games and DVDs too; just plain random ones.Never seen anyone buy one to be honest, but if it makes extra money, then they'll do it..The merchandise is good, and is of good enough quality, but there's always room for improvement.

This was at about 11 o'clock,in the morning. Was back in Late April. As said, didn't see them work since. And thanks for that, will look out for them.

I've never seen any blades; just gears.... Yeah, been there all the time. Was working at the beginning of the season, and then one day I saw it just 'stop'. Thought it was meant to, then realised on my next visit it broke... Good to see that's back up though; I like that touch.
  4. James thinks there's something good about Thorpe? *Dies of shock*
  5. Yeah, happened to me.The syringe is slightly stained with the 'blood'; looks pretty good to be honest.

    Well that was...Poor.
  7. :)So...Once had an Inferno train to myself (well, with a friend). TeacupsDetonator (I think anyways )
  8. I love it when people quote posts that are over a year old...
  9. The awkward moment of "Is it them?" Glad it was actually you two. :(Oh, another random good point. Waving to people on X, just for the sake of it. That was actually very fun.
  10. I do believe is a West Ham fan. Ewwwwwww....
  11. Groundhogs Just a quicky from me..Ride Count:Inferno x2Rumba Rapids x2Teacups x3Loggers Leap x3Samurai x1Rush x1Zodiac x1Depth Charge x2Flying Fish x5CCR x1X:\WTF x1 (Front row x1)Good Points:All audio back to normal. Smell gone from Loggers post-cave.Stealth opened in the afternoon. (Though had been testing a lot in the morning).Inferno on 2 trains in the morning - thank you! All 3 two train coasters on 2 trains.Saw opening on time (I think).Rumba waterfall working again.Rerides.Staff member on Teacups, who I ALWAYS forget the name of, being epic again by spinning the cups. Bad Points:Slammer and Tidal down. (Any ride down is a bad point). No work seemed to be done on them all day.No effects on Inferno. Missed out on Vortex due to someone being epicly sick. X closed down for a bit (just after I'd got off, so not too bad).BBQ wasn't how I remembered it. Little point; you take bags on X now. Seems a bit silly to me to be honest...Also, do believe I saw Ryan and James (?) in the Samurai queue today. Hi. Well done to Thorpe for sorting out things, especially to two train thing, which I really did hate, as well as getting Stealth running.
  12. That is an insult to all those on here who work / have worked on rides.Thorpe are one of the most H&S-wise parks going, they would not dare do such a thing.

According to Ricky, I believe, the gearbox was replaced during this recent downtime.

I don't remember it being down for months last year. Down, yes. But not down for such a long time? The only time I remember it being down for a few months is in 2005...

I do know this. Thorpe have done extremely well this year, and I do not take it away from them. They've improved reliability and have got all rides working ASAP. The joke I made was, to be fair, the norm as early back as last year. And that is all it is, a joke - I do not mean it, of course. Sure, it maybe just sad or pathetic, but unfortunately that is my humour. Thorpe have done fantastically well, but they will still be the butt of those sorta jokes for a long time to come, whether it is liked or not.

You must go to Thorpe with your eyes closed. There's ALWAYS a ride broken at Thorpe.

I've heard the plot arc is Amy being killed (again) as the first half of the series ends. And this time, she wouldn't be coming back..

When you try, you don't get what you deserve. You get nowhere.May as well get the same result and don't try.Life is sh!t

Word of advice..Don't bother trying. You never get what you deserve. Life just screws you over all the time.Life isn't worth the hassle

According to Mr Wardley, the drop height and time was suffice for it to be exciting, shocking and fun for everyone. Any longer and it would have become bland; any shorter and not worthwhile. Haven't experienced it for myself, so cannot say.

The only thing I could see affected by the works of OG is the exit of the Megastore that leads straight there..
