Your Sexuality
Yeah, there is. And, in my view, some are entitled to be against homosexuality. People have firm religious beliefs, and if that means they're against homosexuals, so be it. They have the same right to be against gays that gays have to be, well, gay. And there are still many people in the world who are against it for no reason other than it being 'wrong' - which is, of course, not the case. But why have such a high influx in gay societies, clubs and so forth? It is just as easy to be gay, ignore others' views and carry on living the way you want.(EDIT: Also, don't anyone think I'm being rude or anything or attacking anyone specifically for being part of these groups, just one of the things that grates me a little. )

Thorpe Park Website
Which leads to more guests being unhappy. One of the few changes this year which is just wrong all round...

Your Sexuality
What annoys me is how there's a rise in all these gay groups and societies and stuff. People are gay. It doesn't change who people are. Why's there a need for all these 'Gay and Proud' groups; it is a part of every day life. Yes, people don't like it still, but that doesn't matter! The fact that there's a rise in such groups just makes me think people are making it seem a bigger issue than it is. I'm straight. I don't go joining or setting up straight societies, so what's the need for gay ones?

Chessington General Discussion
As much as people wouldn't want it to have happened, it was bound to. Most European parks charge for parking - it was only a matter of time till parks over here did too. Wonder how much the charge will be though? £2-£5?

The only time I've seen it was when Saw Alive was closed for the media day on 13th August. Then again, there haven't been many days when ride have been down and I haven't checked it much either.

Th13teen
Not 100%, but I heard from reports of the Th13teen evening that the inside of the crypt was well themed to the restoration idea; with shovels and helmets and stuff scattered across - just that you're oblivious to it.Someone who was actually at the event should be able to confirm this though?

Colossus
Colossus has always suffered longer queues the past two years due to Saw. Having Hellgate won't matter due to the other mazes. It'll be just as long as any other busy time of the year. And I can see a similar thing happening to Stealth / Inferno in 2012...

Feedback of the Site
Some really amazing photos there; thanks! Some make me feel old though; I still remember seeing the Colossus model for the first time! (Sidetracking, but am I right in saying you couldn't see the final inversion as a tree was covering it up, or is that something I've just imagined from it being nearly 10 years ago? )

Parks, Rides And Coaster News
Just to add to Daniel's report, the closure of X-Cars is only to those that have two cars on each trains. Any coaster with one car are unaffected as, as Daniel stated, the coupling bar is the problem here.

Feedback of the Site
The MTDP section has a chance to be a bit meatier in my eyes. Still don't like the whole Facebook thing that's around, but that's my personal opinion. Don't fix something that ain't broken to be honest. (Me, positive? Sorry, I think I might be ill )But seriously, well done - the site is very good.

Thorpe Park - Fright Nights - 24th October
I was nervous and I'm shy... :/You seemed like a great bunch of people, but I'm just not someone to just arrive, meet a bunch of strangers, and fit in like that.

SAW: Alive
The whole 'less people' thing is standard for any maze to be honest. The less people there are, the more time the actor can devote to each person, thus improving the experience. Also, there's less time between the front and back, thus adding to the surprise. Being in a group of say, 10, and being at the back, and hearing the person at the front scream, the scare will be ruined. Being in a group of 4, you will experience the scare at the same time.Simples.

Thorpe Park - Fright Nights - 24th October
Fair point. To be honest, I'm hardly the most liked member on here, so was a little apprehensive going to the other meet in the first place. After how it went, it probably won't be till next year before I consider going to another meet.
