  1. Wow. People on this forum REALLY do need to learn the definition of OPINION.I disagree with Will's OPINION. He is basing his OPINION on statistics, facts, he has seen. However, in my OPINION, these facts don't support Will's OPINION. Regardless, he is still ALLOWED his own OPINION.And Matthew, I too disagree with your OPINION regarding the C3 exam (if this is AQA syllabus you're referring to). I found the C3 exam straighforward, even if iy was slightly harder than previous exams. I PERSONALLY found B3 much harder, but I know others disagree with me there. You cannot use your OPINION as a FACT.Matthew, don't go down to personally insulting and attacking people on their OPINION, especially on one that you've misread, it is wrong. I understand this is something you feel strongly about - so do I - and by all means put your point across, but don't insult people while you're at it. I did it a couple of pages back no problem, why can't you?

  5. Fair play. I thought you probably meant that, but I did see Matt's point. :DAs said, I think everything is fine how it is regarding the ciggies. My suggestion: More queue line shading. Pleases everyone and has chance for extra theming.
  6. Ah, apologises. ;)To be honest, I'm fine with the way it works now. Any ways of changing it would be a waste of time and money..
  7. That was in a queue line. And with a lot of greenery and flammable theming. And look where we are now...No smoking in queue lines and no theming!

As stupid as this may sound, why don't you both bring it up with a mod / admin? If their being a nuisance to the forum, surely some form of 'official' mention to an admin saying of your anger can only be a good thing. They'd either be able to sort it out or know what is wrong with the member. And what you're saying about Will is bordering on bullying in my eyes. By bringing up your concerns, it'll surely make things better?
  9. I'm sorry, but that has annoyed me. In the same way that all 'GCSEs are easier' claims do.Firstly, I'd be lying if I said I won't be disappointed when I don't get all A*s. That was what I was predicted until January. And I will be disappointed if I get a B in any subject bar French. That was what I've been predicted and that's what I honestly think I can achieve. As for GCSEs getting easier. I don't know if they are and, in my eyes, there's no way of judging. Pass rates are affected by a whole lot of things; teaching quality, the students themselves, etc. But there's one thing I know for certain. GCSEs aren't easy. They are difficult and anyone who disagrees is just stupid in my honest opinion. This year's exams were hard and, in my view, every exam I took this year (except one) was just as harder - some harder - than previous exams. What infruiates me the most about the News reports about exams getting easier is they come when results are out. How does it make those who didn't do as well as expected feel? Being told that these exams are easier and then doing poorly must be horrendous. Whether exams are easier or not, they ARE still difficult. Will, please don't feel I'm having a go at you, I'm not. But this is somethong I feel very strongly about, and I'm just sharing my views about what everyone who has a similar view to yours.
  10. I will say this once..I understand that you'd be extastic with those results, and there are many who would. However, if people don't get what they wanted / needed / were predicted, then they'd be disappointed.

I disagree. Quite a few of the staff at Thorpe are nice and friendly. The trouble is that quite a lot more aren't. It's really unfortunate.
  12. My first thought was Floorless. However, never really paid any close attention to the Mega track honestly. From what we know about X Raptor and the released concept art, I think the track is too small for that too. Then again, I could easily be wrong..
  13. I can see it already.."New 4 2013! Try out our INSANE bins with added ash trays! Can u handle the WICKED task that lies ahead?!"
  14. I had a nosey at these photos on FB earlier. :PReally did seem like an awesome day! . (But no Lorikeets!? )And I do agree the staff there are amazing this season. Friendly, funny and helpful.
  15. I cannot believe I actually laughed quite loudly at that! They're chessey and all that, yes, but they are brilliant!
  16. Ooh, very interesting. Can't wait to sees.

Though you were actually at the event; I've heard it could be either. I'd always assumed 2014 to be more likely as AT usually did SWs on a 4 year thing, but that of course could've changed.
  19. Ah right. Personally, I think it is explain to a good enough standard but, as you said, the maze itself just lets the story down.
  20. I think that is probably what they tried, yes, but I think the execution was very poor. That is probably the best back story you can get for it. The SWAT room of the maze does really give the back story, albeit a weak one.
  21. Brings back out of sheer boredom...
  22. Very true. Just a case of damned if they do, damned if they don't I s'pose.
  23. Hmm, strange. Every time I've visited, it's been on time, give or take a minute. The earliest I've seen the park opened this season is about 9:25. Strange.
  24. I disagree with this. It just annoys people more. For example, Chessie opens its gate at 9:30, but practically all rides don't open till 10. And the amount of people I've heard saying "What's the point in opening the park but not the rides" is uncountable...

I do agree. To be honest, when Ricky pointed it out, I did realise it, but it was only then that I did. Then again, I very rarely bother Tidal Wave, but that's no excuse. You also say how 2 people notice how the Tidal Wave sign was fixed. As far as I'm aware, no one has mentioned about the removal of the Sea Snakes and Ladders (or whatever it was called) play area by Depth Charge, or the extra paving CC side if the Slammer toilets..
