I would rather they go for known groups instead of picking at completely random because let's face, some people are more likely to carry banned items. I think the AT system of very quick bag checks at random is good. My godmother was checked once even though she doesn't look like a troublemaker but it was under a minute and the person searching was very polite.

Has anyone been to Alton Towers during the school trip period and how is it compared to Thorpe Park? My friend and I are considering going straight after our GCSES but it is quite a long journey.Peter I am sorry I think I sent you a PM that was supposed to go to Peaj :/

I don't remember how much they costed but I remember thinking even at the ages of 8 and 11 when I went to Euro Disney with my family that the photos were stupidly overpriced but the frames do look amazing. I think the photopass is a decent deal and more so if you are an AP holder or of you want to share the pass with friends and scan the photos onto a social networking sight.

I just think there is lack of depth from him. The artists I like the most are normally somewhat unique due to one thing or another ( ). He just doesn't seem that special to me.

My dad claims that he was one of the first people on with my sister when it opened. Whether this is actually true I don't know but he said it used to be a really full on experience from the entrance of the queue to getting off. It's a pirty but unless Merlin decided to rebrand it and can therefore sell it as a new attraction, I doubt it isn't going to be changed. I wonder if one fo the new flats in the MTDP would fit in there...

I don't know whether trains to chessie cover it but if an adult buys an offpeak day travelcard they can buy 5 kids tickets for £1 each. My friends and I do this when going to London and split the cost.

I do the hand behind head thing on fast waterslides as I tend to scrape my head on them. Didn't think about doing that on Saw though. I get the tight leg thing as well and the only way to stop it is to have nothing in my pockets. I am so glad Saw and Stealth are the rides with a wristband system as I cause myself a lot of discomfort if I have things in my pockets and therefore put all stuff in my bag when I hand it in which in would never do on open bag storage ride.

When I went last year with my german exchange he was determined to get a front seat on Saw that we went on it 6 times. His face lit up when we were told to go to row 3. I find Saw at the front much worse that Colossus in any seat this season. It isn't aging too well..

I think the surprise is sort of ruined in the 2nd car. I was in the 1st car at the front on my first ride and hadn't looked at the ride plans and as I heard no other cars I had no idea what was going to happen. You won't get a choice in the seating arrangements as the staff working on Saw sort it out and won't let you move to increase throughput I think. Would be nice if the back seats were slightly raised but it's not going to happen.

I am pretty annoyed that Skins was great in Seasons 1 and 2 but absolute trash in Seasons 3 and 4. It should have been axed it after Season 2 to keep its reputation but I guess E4 just want to milk it. Grey's Anatomy is still decent though.

My guess is it's a mix of the 2. The release mechanism has probably worn out a bit over the years and you have got used to the force. Stick your legs and arms out if you want a more forceful ride.

To be fair, it was the worst possible day to go to Magic Mountain with more than half of the coasters closed and Universal Hollywood hit capacity and was hard to move in some places. My family actually has a holiday flat in Bournemouth which isn't too far from Paulton's. I will have to get there this summer. I wonder how it will compare with Universal Singapore .

Thorpe Park have a thread for reviews of Saw Alive on their Facebook page. That's probably the best option as I think they are checking it.

This probably should have been done before the meet but oh well.Hi I am Daniel and I live near Oxford. I am in my GCSE year and therefore fully enjoying the pleasure of being pestered by parents at every possible opportunity. I tend to be very shy until I know someone fairly well but all of you were very friendly yesterday, even though Holly who seemed to enjoy falling over me! I find most horror movies funny, especially Final Destination and Drag Me To Hell. I hate my current school due to most people in it following the typical private school boy sterotype but will be moving schools next year. My favourite rollercoaster is Terminator Salvation: The Ride or Nemesis and my favourite non-rollercoaster ride is The Simpsons Ride. I really do hate Quantum though.

Pretty sure it was Smartguy as he asked me to put the Coke in the storage box when we got on. It was probably revenge on the people who were trying to kill him on the stealth rocks.
