  1. Just to advise you can now play a game again because SAW: THE RIDE is now OPEN.
  2. I would agree that March opening is incredibly optimistic but we shall see. I think a lot will depend on the weather over winter, it doesn't look like there's much room for flexibility in the schedule.
  3. Look forward to watching a reaction video to a stream of the THORPE PARK RESORT Youtube video later on tonight on the big screen.

    Legoland

Also - the new coaster at Legoland seems to be flying under the radar a bit doesn't it? Being overshadowed by Exodus I guess, and SW9 speculation and such.
  5. BAN THIS MEMBER FOR BEING ANTI-MERLIN. You must not criticize this incredible ALL NEW addition to 2023 FRIGHT NIGHTS.
  6. Thorpe Park's socials are on a roll today - they've just posted the next FN announcement before the "official reveal" at 7pm, but with a picture of Colossus. Creature Campus sounds like something from Chessington.

    Legoland

Blowing the dust off this topic but I see that Legoland have announced Viking River Splash will close permanently from 25th September... opening in 2007 that's 16 years of operation. Rumba Rapids laughs in the face of such failure, and will raise you 20 years on top of that and counting.
  8. Why oh why oh why would you post this - scheduled or otherwise - when the ride is still closed?
  9. Just wish I'd joined a live stream of waiting for the announcement tbh, I am such a fake fan - AGAIN.
  10. I've heard rumours that there will be new walking actors called The Nod To's, that will be dressed in old props and tat from Thorpe Farm, any truth in this?
  11. Cheers for that, can you do it with BIG BIRD and SLKSTN: THE RIDE please?
  12. Hope the Fish isn't doing a Scorpion.
  13. I can imagine the video now - "You know what Thrillseekers, you really resonated with the codename Project Exodus - we thought we'd just call it - Exodus"
  14. I feel like they definitely would have liked to have revealed the name by now. Looking back at the last coaster at Thorpe, it was 1st August that The Swarm was revealed - AFTER having the LC12 teaser campaign for the geeks. The general public still at large don't know this is happening.
  15. QR code takes you here: https://thorpe-park.leadfamly.com/project-exodus The little fire bits floating around are called ember in the coding, I would be surprised if there was some fire in the branding considering Inferno is round the corner. Could be looking too much into things there, anyway... Picture below from SLKSTN himself: I don't really think "Thorpe Park" is needed on that sign - it does smack a little of a rush job, which would make sense if they couldn't register Icarus as previously mentioned...
  16. Looks suspiciously like the same colour of green line marking/spray paint we have at work to be honest. Good spot mind you, whatever the outcome.
  17. In short - the park has far bigger issues and/or redevelopment areas before tearing down (beloved) Stealth.
  18. Stealth SRQ is the new Tidal Wave fire effect.
  19. The name not being firmed up would explain why the teasers have been non existent. Might have to go to option 3 at this point at call it The Golden Boi.
  20. Dear God, I appreciate that when you have props etc. it makes sense to use them, but Merlin are obsessed with passing off old toot as "Easter eggs" and such aren't they?! It always screams "What rubbish do we have kicking about that we can make look old and abandoned, throw it all together, new attraction innit"
  21. Tulleys gonna love lording that over Thorpe come SpoOpy SzN.
  22. Best not be absolute BS sitting in the dark with headphones on for £10.
  23. £10 a run through, with no discount for the beloved annual pass holders, is a rip off. And that's from someone who's never held an annual pass in their life #FakeFan. It's just too much money for your one and only runthrough to be ruined by absolute cretins (Tulleys now 16+...) and/or not enough actor interaction. I know the days of non-upcharge mazes are long gone but I begrudge it. However, all that said, fair play on afternoon runs being cheaper.
