  1. Indeed. I would anticipate that if Saturday is off the table, they would update tonight ideally, tomorrow at the latest. Not that I'm searching Hyperia on X on the daily (spoiler: I am), here's the latest: Someone else on Twi...X has spotted that the train has water dummies loaded on it already....
  2. Maybe the fire effect is on if the water is off 🤪
  3. Just cos you're an influenza M8 and have been on it already and had your golden moment....
  4. SAW remains closed tomorrow, ride availability page has been updated. Those chancing it for Saturday will be getting nervy...
  5. They aren't messing about! Park isn't even open and the crane is up already!
  6. Yep, very true - I'm hoping Saturday 8th is a worst case scenario so they are managing expectations - I'm due to visit on Tuesday 11th so would be good if it does open at least a few days before then so I can see what kinda queues to expect!
  7. That would certainly make sense. I see the Hyperia shop is now open. I get it, make money but it's giving me DBGT PTSD.
  8. Any ideas what that is? Lift motor/drive wheel?
  9. Spelling isn't always Thorpe's socialz strong point. Maybe now is a good time to bring out a Fright Night's construction video to divert attention and think of more positive times xoxo
  10. We will be interrupting this broadcast for an announcement from the Queen very shortly 😁
  11. Was off to the Northern line m8. Yes - was thinking the same - surely they will have to pull adverts or reissue with extra text that says "Opening soon" at the bottom... Feel like we need a statement from our Queen, Alice, to quell the rumours and explain what's going on. This is the only way the situation can be fixed.
  12. Just announced - they cannot commit to opening before 8th June. Yikes! Most definitely not a sick one. What an absolute disaster - and I don't think that's an exaggeration. Still, will give them a chance to put more plants in.
  13. I was waiting for some PP insight, much appreciated. Will my visit for 11th June be OK, in the form of a song please? One would imagine that if Hyperia is not planned to open on Thursday, they'd be announcing that by park close today?
  14. The advertising is in full force on the Underground too....
  15. Wonder if they'll use this down time to work more on the landscaping and finishing touches, perhaps?
  16. Been a while since I've seen that on Stealth, that's brilliant to hear. Long may it continue!
  17. When speculating over potential opening dates, I remember it coming up that it'd be a touch risky opening right on Half Term... I know that a ride can have issues at any time but it was quite some roll of the dice. The adverts are in overdrive for Hyperia too, seen so many on TV. Not ideal, and here's hoping that it opens on Thursday and isn't delayed any further...
  18. That time period announcement screams a broken part, no?
  19. I can let you know after I've been on the 11th! The dynamic pricing on the website at least gives you an idea of which days are quieter. At a wild guess - 90-120 minutes for half term, then 30-60 on weekdays start of June?
  20. Dynamic ticket pricing for tomorrow now up to £52... I think the most it can get up to is £59 then it's a sell out, from memory? Similarly though, am very surprised tomorrow isn't sold out. Going to be interesting to see how the crowd management goes, hats off to Thorpe for the prep on that one. Hyperia one shot Fasttracks are priced at £20.... I wouldn't even consider that price point personally but some evidently would and will do so. But then, if that's the case, then it's priced right I suppose!
  21. Credit to dean8001 on Twitter for photos from today. Hurry hurry construction team, the cast of Love Island from a couple of years ago are due in 30 hours! Just spotted that the bottom photo has queue line fencing in waiting to go in still!
  22. Sorry for double post - I see the Thorpe Park app now has accessibility info added for Hyperia. I appreciate people have sensory needs etc, and completely understand detailing perhaps what a scare attraction includes, or if there is haze, strobes, latex and such, and what a ride itself entails - but do we really need to be told that there will be people screaming, there will be audio announcements and that the queue line and station will have people in them? Or is this the level of stating the blooming obvious that we now have to stoop to, to cover ones corporate backside?
  23. They do like to try and announce things when Merlin do - Tulleys have 3 question marks on their website. Appears Circus of Horrors and The Island/Colony has disappeared, so would suggest 2 are replacements for those and one new haunt. Wastelands extension/haunt 2 finally happening?
  24. Don't be so negative, setting up the stage whilst tarmac is still being laid and finished at the other end of the plaza was definitely the construction plan.
  25. Our Queen in a gold hi-viz has spoken 🫡
