Camelot - 04/08/
Any MS Spinner is good with two people though...When it's battering me about, I couldn't care less how much it spins... Awful ride... I hope it burns...

Colossus
Nah, there's a massive difference between Tonnerre/Megaphobia/Beast/Thunderhead and a few others and Colossus...Mean Streak is the only wooden coaster worst than Colossus for roughness...Nothing wrong with a bit of rough, but Colossus goes over the line if you have any height on you...

Colossus
Under-rated?It's rough as hell, you have to sit in specific seats to not have your legs crushed (if you're tall), it's aged poorly, the train design is terrible, the bars are perhaps the heaviest ones I've ever encountered...Last time I rode it I had a massive headache as a reward... Just have complete contempt towards that ride... I do to any ride where I have to sit in any particular row or seat to get a 'good' ride... That's not the mark of a good ride at all...It WAS good 9 years ago, but now, whilst not my least favourite coaster, it's certainly in the bottom half of my list...

Alton Towers Trip Reports
Aside from the Spider Crabs replacing the Rays this year.Worst decision ever in my opinion.

Rant
Life is easier said than done though. And sometimes your friends can be your worst enemies... Food for thought.@Will, people are just strange. Especially ones who say you are friends but often it doesn't feel that way. Hard to say what to do because all I do is have unrequited rage or confusion over the whole deal.

THE SWARM: Construction Updates
Thorpe need to do more groundwork than other parks anyway, otherwise the thing would sink and then what? It'll be open (for 5 minutes) in March as it's meant to... No need for twisted knickers...

Parks, Rides And Coaster News
I was just telling you why the height thing is slightly all over the place. Hills and valleys are everywhere in Dollywood. Hilliest park in the world it is.It does indeed share similarities with B&M Sit-Downs, but I'ven ever met one of them I didn't like. And for Dollywood it's hard to judge how much the ride will be hidden by trees until it gets built. It's all rather exciting for B&M this year. Great to see a ride type of their's become really popular in only two years of it's existence. And each one seems to bring it's own individual thing to the table. Brilliant.

Dollywood and the surrounding area is like that... Imagine Towers, but bigger... And that's the thing...Height doesn't matter though in my eyes with this type though, so....

THE SWARM: Speculation & Theories
Think the park have done similar before with Bluetooth... And with the Bar Reader apps on phones now, they could do anything really...

Parks, Rides And Coaster News
If we go by announcements, it's not even the 1st B&M one... Six Flags properly trolled Dollywood here :PLooks AWESOME though... Dollywood is a beautiful park with a fantastic atmosphere, I can only imagine the sort of landscaping that will go with this ride... And the rustic theming to boot...More pics!Poor Thorpe

The Zoo
Why would anyone want MORE Capybara?Plus they're not from African, so wouldn't fit in...And why couldn't the Lions have their own personal enclosure in the Wanyama area? Expanding backwards could result in that...
-
The Zoo
But they already have Meerkats, Penguins AND Fennec Foxes :PI agree with Trail of the Kings though... Next on the chopping board I reckon for a revamp... Especially if (I dream) they eventually move the Lions into Wanyama... They need to get a balance really... I agree they need to invest into the park just as much, like they did last year with Wild Asia AND Wanyama... Chessie however have such little investment available to them (and a lack of decisiveness) that they can only do one or the other...Hard to say really...

Facebook actually was really useful for my uni group work last semester... Especially as you can now upload files onto it... Allowed quick group discussion when at home and in uni on different computers... Don't knock it's usefulness till you try it...

THE SWARM: Construction Updates
Looks good...Really have to tip the hat to Thorpe with the marketing for this... Considering this is a completely new thing for them to do, they're really putting it all into it...Criticising the position of the sign though... Is quite pedantic... Putting it in full view of the entrance and exit bridge is a stroke of damn marketing genius... Because it will be the first and last thing people see at the park, and should stick in the mind quite well...Better than just having posters/models/nothing at all now isn't it?

Parks, Rides And Coaster News
Coaster types ALWAYS go through bandwagons though... Look at SLCs, Boomerang, Stand-ups, Inverted, Accelerators and probably many more... When these types were introduced there was a fairly high amount of boom due to various reasons due to cost, ease of construction and uniqueness (by which I mean, unique to the park/area when it opened)... Indeed, even the Flying coaster had a boom, the only one that really didn't was the Dive Machine, but that easily could have been due to the high cost of ground/tunnel work...There's absolutely nothing wrong with Wing-Riders doing the keyhole element... By that reasoning to a degree, Inverted coasters are all the same as they use leg-choppers on all of them... There are a lot more samey coasters in the world than 3 (potentially 4) Wing-Riders... The American side of the industry is so damn different due to the vast gulf in tastes... Bigger, bolder and brasher are the key things you see in every American park, even Disney do big things with everything... I like the look of the Superman ride (bar the brakes of DEATH) as it is a really unique ride... It's confirmed as a Premier since I posted that stuff yesterday...And if you're expecting Six Flags to give a well detailed story or theme PAST DC Comics? Never gonna happen...
