Haha, I've seen plenty of rollbacks but never been on one - but I really want to!

    What was it like?

Congo River Rapids - No comparison! Dragon's Fury or Sonic Spinball?

^ That's not strictly true - a flat ride could be put in, which they may regard as a major attraction.

Banned for having a problem with people who have a problem with active moderators.

Well, that's what they've been advertising...
  7. I hope they ask me then haha!
  8. Tell them to build a wooden coaster!

I see, in that case it's a good investment as I read lots of complaints last year because they had removed the old one to put in the Neverland walkthrough.
  10. It wasn't as bad before the barriers as cars could just leave rather than being held up to have their money taken off them! This is proved by the fact that usually as soon as you get past the barriers the road is clear. They are the problem.
  11. The problem is that they aren't doing anything to improve the situation, and they are basically giving people who complain free fastracks to shut them up.

^ I miss those days... It certainly used to make the queue more entertaining!

What I meant was if we are only getting a play area then I am disappointed. The way they've been advertising it sounded like a new ride of some sort. Also, Brer Rabbit > Indoor play area. EDIT: Ohhh, I thought that the play area was in the Wild West area. Ignore the above...

They've posted pictures of an indoor play area. If that's it then I will be very disappointed...

Yeah, back in 2008 I remember seeing it almost stop on several occasions at the top, then of course it rolled back! I wouldn't say that it's that slow either in the video, possibly slightly slower than usual.
  16. I don't think it's having a repaint. The ride audio was barely audible on Sunday - a shame, as I was hoping to be able to hear the theme one last time before the inevitable happens...
  17. Just a simple (albeit rubbish) ridecount from Sunday: My friend got fed up after about 4pm as the weather was dire so we went home. (Not my decision!) The Swarm x2 Saw x2 X x2 Stealth x1 Nemesis Inferno x1 Detonator x1 Rumba Rapids x1 Braniac Live x1 I thought that Braniac Live was a fantastic show, full of laughs and enough to keep the audience entertained. Very impressive! EDIT: I'll add my ridecount in from today (Sunday 27th April) as it's nothing to write home about: The Swarm x3 Stealth x2 Saw: The Ride x1 X x1 Detonator x1 Rush x1 Vortex x1 (Running very well!) I was only in the park from 10:30am - 2pm so it wasn't going to be great.
  18. With regards to Flamingoland, I've heard how awful it is there and have no interest in visiting that park. I went to Drayton Manor on their fireworks event and all rides stayed open until 9pm, with queues not shutting until 9 on the dot (this was last year). The last time I went to LWV I think that all the queues were open until the end, they even let some people join the queue for Raptor Attack after the closing time. Oakwood were good last year, although I remember that they did actually close queues early in 2012. Fun City Brean don't close the queue until the closing time and will run off any queue there is left (although they rarely have queues over 5 minutes).

More like "anyone but merlin!"EDIT: Ahh just got the joke because she's obsessed with fountains haha!
  20. Blimey, those chipboard sets must have broken the bank!
  21. I'm sorry, but that is not true at all. Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Oakwood, Lightwater Valley, Fun City Brean and Drayton Manor are all parks I have visited in the last few years (most of them last year/this year), and none of them have this ride close policy. Pleasurewood Hills is the only park I've heard of that still have that policy.

That's very poor indeed - it's one effect for heaven's sake! How hard can it be to keep a fountain working?
  23. Thanks for the report You have to wonder what goes through their heads - why would you run Rita on one train in school holidays? The shutter not closing on Thirteen was something that annoyed me last October, so it looks like the issue hasn't been addressed. Glad to hear it was good overall though.

Banned for not playing an instrument. Trombones FTW!
  25. I seem to manage it at Fright Nights pretty well! Also, I'm not sure why you seem to think that Adventure Island and BPB aren't proper parks?
