  1. ... The mist was off yesterday, although a tiny bit was coming out of the volcano later on in the day.
  2. That's really good but they aren't the only ones, BPB have been extending to 9pm (originally 8pm) this week. It seems it's only merlin parks with the shoddy opening times.(I mean 6/6:30pm at towers, come on!)

Well good then, I look forward to being impressed when I visit!

Well that's good then, but it's an "I'll believe it when I see it" kind of a statement. Running Vampire on one train/two trains with four minute dispatch times is really trying to make the day better for guests! I do intend to visit the park soon (as I have a MAP) and I hope to see the improvement that the park so badly needed last year.
  5. What are you on about? Raptor Attack is much better themed than most Merlin investments!

That would be good as I don't think there should be standard and premium passes anyway! An "annual pass" should just be an "annual pass."
  7. Noooo! Seriously though, I'll be watching the show tomorrow. Looking forward to it!

It's rubbish, having three queues going into the baggage hold doesn't work well at all either.

The trouble is that entry tickets are already outrageously overpriced.

Towers don't have enough either though, there's usually huge queues to get out of there.

    Sums chessington up really.

It's nowhere near enough for a huge carpark's worth of cars. Don't get me started on Chessington's one, I sent them two emails about them not having any members of staff on a faulty barrier, which caused several people to get beeped at and abuse hurled at them because their ticket wouldn't scan. Even after the first email when I went back there it hadn't changed.

Another moan, but it is not acceptable at all to hold everyone up from leaving to make them pay for parking, as when it was free there was barely any hold up at all. Really riles me up. If they're going to charge for parking, at least have enough barriers to do so!
  14. Cool, it sounds really good.

I don't pay attention to them anyway as I don't think they've been accurate once since they change to the new signs.

Something else must have happened then as they were all for it opening a few weeks back. Flipping thing, it's a shame because I really like it!
  17. Thanks for the review, it sounds like a great park.Unfortunately if they have that closing policy then I won't even consider visiting, that is appalling and something that I used to give BPB a lot of hate for (fortunately they have improved 100% since then!) Hobs Pit is an attraction that interests me greatly - what was it like? Scary?
  18. I was expressing an opinion on what I've seen so far, which is different to saying "the area is crap" before seeing it finished. Because to be honest, we were shown a highly themed concept image for Storm Surge, then look at the result. We were also promised the world's most terrifying live action horror maze, when in reality it was mediocre at best. Surely you can see why I'm having doubts about the area?
  19. That's why I said that I will reserve judgement until the area is open...
  20. I disagree on that one. Anyways, yeah it's interesting to look at but I don't go by it.
  21. The trouble is, a lot of those are neglected. Rumba and Loggers are both in a dire state (and I've heard families commenting the same), Storm Surge is awful and things like the Banana Boat barely make it off the ground anymore! I suppose they have an acceptable level of family attractions though, once Angry Birds opens there will be a few more.
  22. Don't agree with it at all, I don't know how anyone can think that Air is better than rides like The Ultimate, Inferno and PMBO but hey ho.
  23. It's great that they've put this effect back into operation! Looking forward to seeing it on my next visit.
  24. Another case of not putting it on the website! Three rides closed and one operating on a dire cycle is not acceptable for a busy day in the holidays. They are a joke, trying to market themselves as a family park with very few family attractions, then not even putting anywhere online that two of them are closed! (Zodiac and Storm in a Teacup). Very poor.

It wouldn't take much at all to get the tunnel back to an acceptable condition. At the moment it looks like a derelict warehouse with a water leak.
