It honestly just depends how quickly they see it. As I'm sure you can appreciate we can't be around 24 hours a day, so as quickly as humanly possible.
  2. I'm so glad you see Paris' extreme operational flaws

I think this sums up The Smiler for me now.

Congratulations! Really glad to hear that

It's closer to the ground than the others so gravity would suggest that that is the case!
  6. Thorpe are making steps to lower queue times and possibly level the playing field a bit better with the Reserve and Ride initiative. From memory they want to be a queue-less theme park in just a few years and have made steps to do that. I agree with the fastrack = bad arguement and to an extent even disagree with Disney's free fastpass system (As it is used on attractions that don't need it which inflate standby waits that could be minimal eg Buzz Lightyear and whilst 'everyone has the opportunity to get them' some guests are more in the know and can plan their day a lot more effectively) However, it's silly to say Thorpe aren't trying to do anything about it or don't listen to guest feedback because they have made very obvious steps in the last few months. Sure, this isn't a quick solution and fastrack may be around in it's current form for a while but they are trying.

Don't believe everything you see on wikipedia! The topic on this coaster is here and it's not a rip-off.

Back onto the friendships thing. If one falls apart, don't worry. There are over 7 billion people in the world so you'll find someone who likes you for you and none of the bull**** people come out with. I'm civil to most people and I have a few very good friends and some 'just' friends for the sake of my larger friendship groups. However I am very honest to people about what I like/dislike and will try and always be upfront about things which is how you form true friendships. So yeah cut the bull****. These 'all round' nice people you meet are positive nice people to you but from my experience they are less good at the real deal of friendship. Thanks for tuning in to Tom's Tips.

Dan9 doesn't find anything rough though
  11. Not sure on that one, but my suggestion for anyone on the forum looking to go to Hocus Pocus to choose saturday the 26th. First saturday of half term has been quieter than any other day (including the day before) the last 2 years running so if you're put off by the fact that it's a weekend don't worry!

They opened it at about 4:30 and extended park operation to make up for the ****fest. Ryan had his first ride!

I was thinking the other day this area was next in need of a clean up, so good for Alton.
  17. ^ Agree. I've only found standups painful when I've messed up my seat (due to my own stupidity). I enjoyed Vortex and Riddler's is a must do (for me) when at SFMM. Edit: ()

Banned for not believing that, as many studies have shown evidence to suggest that!
  19. Probably another thing they've recently introduced to lower the likliehood of colisions. But they could always just train staff properly!
  20. Tom replied to th13teen's topic in UK Attractions
    Then we can get corrected.
  21. Sounds like a standard day at busy Chessington. Oh, and Truckers has an hour queue on quiet days so that seems pretty reasonable!

Yes they use a similar system to Q bot I think.
