Nemesis Inferno
I went on Inferno yesterday and the most was definitely working. The volcano mister was working very well and there was a fair amount of most in the tunnel too (I've seen it run with more but it was definitely working).

Thorpe Park Opening Trip - 22-03-15
And the best part is, quite a lot of the action was caught on video (which a Creaky member will edit together in the next week or so).

Thorpe Park Opening Trip - 22-03-15
Another fantastic TPM meet. They all just seem to get bigger and better! Despite arriving nearly 3 hours late, had a great day and was nice seeing everyone again, plus lots of new faces (over 25 attended the Peaj of the day). Inferno pizza was very good except the slightly slow service. The plates were fine. The spooning game was even more competitive than last time (maybe too competitive) as lots of pushing, pulling etc happened, got a bit violent at times, but the end result was worthwhile (I didn't partake this year due to lateness). Highlights for me also included 3 rides in a row on Swam without leaving my seat & depth charge race with Peaj, Adam & Phill. Despite vortex, Detty & Slammer being down plus no Caroulsel and 1 train Colossus, had a great day and cant wait til Cheessington meet (which I hope I can make).

Alton Towers General Discussion
When Paramount opens, I hope Merlin fail epically (unless they learn from their mistakes). Towers is going down hill fast Thorpe is still in the centre of its normal issues (though lots of cheeky price picks now) Chessington seems to be between a rock and a hard place. Legoland seem to be the only one doing the right decisions this year, increasing driving & boating schools capacity (with a refresh) and retheming the town area (which was dated) plus diggers getting replaced by a disko coaster potentially smoke gat other things.

That's an achievement for Merlin nowadays.

New for 2015 - Octonauts Rollercoaster Adventure
As far as I'm aware, the four current (for now) rides set to leave are Blade, Flume, Ripsaw and Spinball. Blade as we know will be going this year (due to SW8 and other things) and I wouldn't be surprised if this will be Ripsaw's last season either (SW8 will be in forbidden valley after all). Spinball going seems to be rumoured every year. It's very likely it's going to happen, but with the two above rides still present, I think Spinball will be going 2017/2018. The flume will probably be the last of these to go as though it's around 35 years old and (to some) a long boring ride with drops, it's still a fairly popular ride (with families) at the resort and still obtains a high throughput (around 1200). This will likely go after 2018 to either make way for a more modern log ride or SW9 (maybe SW9 won't be coaster after all with Thorpe's next ride to be a dark ride).

Project WC16 - New for 2016
Now you mention it, the floor near truckers was made uneven at Chessington recently. That's the biggest ground breaking they've done for a while

New for 2015 - Octonauts Rollercoaster Adventure
Bah!!!!!!!! Beaten to it by coasterdude (was about to post that same pic) Looks very good, definitely an improvement over Beastie. Would like to see a few more bigger bits of theming if I'm being picky; but aside from that looks very good.

Stress Topic
Considering this week and next I have 70% of my 2nd year work due and a piano exam tommorow, my Uni's school of arts office have really been salting the wound recently, 1/ email on Tuesday saying I've submitted something for a module I haven't been enrolled for (it needed renaming and several emails to sort out) 2/ Email today they had not received my latest piece of work (I submitted yesterday) which they had apparently kinda lost in translation (which was eventually found) 3/ there's been lots of problems with submission lately which considering this is my busiest week and I've not had any problems with work submission is really annoying, something is really up with my work ATM. 4/ I have three more pieces of work to submit before the end of next week. If any of them gain similar problems I'm definitely going to lose my s*** 5/ whilst my department does also require online submissions too, physical copies for everything are still escential and withouth can lead to a NS (f). This is 2015 ffs

Chessington General Discussion
Long overdue, but there's only one photo to summarise Chessington's opening days this year Having all the main rides down for opening except Falls, Tombs [which are in an awful state] and Scorpion [if you even call it one], isn't a great start. Least they've upgraded the £10 return to a complimentary one which for the amount of main rides down [about 20% of the park] isn't very good.

Chessington General Discussion
Three of the six main attractions closed at the start of the season (if you include Scorpion), not a very good start here at all considering they've had weeks to sort these things out snd get them ready. Makes Thorpe's closed rides almost forgivable. Glad I'm finally hopefully getting to some proper leading parks this year (starting with DLP).

Port Aventura
This is definitely very good news, should make a 'presumably' rough ride much smoother. Now they should do the same with Stampida (burn those Kumbak trains with fire).

Thorpe Park Opening Trip - 22-03-15
I think Fins on this ocassion is the best choice for reasons already stated. I've looked around to find out about Staines Creams and all I know currently is that it will open on the 3 or 4th week of March, so could be a close call (unless someone can confirm on the day). Creams is good

The Blade
This is great news (for now), as it shouldn't really have to close until 2016. If only towers could now learn from all their other mistakes and start running their park like the world class resort it deserves to be.
