  1. I think so. I'm guessing it'll return for fright nights 2016? I'm not sure how much of a success it was last year though... I enjoyed it at least, it just wasn't scary
  2. imo, my bloody valentine was only good on my run through in 2014. every other time I've been on it it's been terrible I really hope they manage to keep cabin/change the name and keep the maze the same. it was insanely good last year
  3. there were actors in the SAW queue? when was this? :-)
  4. yeah, the dungeon/ship were there before it got converted into the ship with the 4D cinema. the dungeon/walkthrough used to terrify the hell out of me, I remember being carried through it crying and then I was terrified of models/ghost trains/themed attractions for years after until I was about 12 lmao. it's sad AIGF is gone now, I had no idea that Devils Creek was going, if that site was still up I would....sad times. does anyone know what's replacing it? I know it's a dark ride but is there a theme/name for it yet?
  5. the real question is though....if the IP gets renewed/stays for when SAW 8 is released....what could this mean for the ride/maze?
  6. kinda bummed out I didn't manage to get on the flume or ripsaw this year :/
  7. what was the fear haunted house walkthrough like?? was it like a scaremaze??

    Logger's Leap

system/meltdown is like the musical equivalent of what Merlin is going through right now
  9. slenderman as an IP is dead. that whole thing died down back in like what, 2012, 2013??? it's really lame too imo, and most fans of it are like...13 themselves. but then again that's just in my experience, so..

    Video Games.

just finished halo 5, and I've been playing loads of multiplayer too: I'd sum it up like this.... brilliant gameplay/controls (it's just so fun), pretty terrible story but a fun campaign to play, and incredible multiplayer....which is lacking in features. loads of features. idk, the whole game is really fun to play, the new moves and stuff are so so great and as a huge halo fan I love playing it. the multiplayer modes are great to play too, really addictive and balanced but...the whole game just feels so empty. the actual story is awful and a huge cop-out, and there's hardly any playlists in the multiplayer compared to the previous games. idk, I love the actual gameplay but I can see myself getting bored with it really fast. kind of dissapointed overall but I'm still loving every second I play of it so, guess it can't be too bad then .
  12. ^ye thats weird. especially with people saying overall throughput seems better this year.. queues definitely seemed to be longer for every maze this year compared to last year imo, but maybe I'm wrong as I had directors cut both years. but basing how busy the queues are said to be on the queue time boards, this year definitely seemed busier than last. I went on a saturday both years too so... idk.
  13. thorpes maze quality: sub par
  14. I did both twister and disaster this year (was my first time at orlando) and honestly they were both terrible. disaster was better than twister but let's just say neither should really be missed...
  15. victoriana would be 100x a better name than chronicles of london imo. chronicles of london just sounds so cheesy.. so safe. boring, even. reminds me of the taxi ride in tussads (which isn't boring at all or anything, it's just tame). idk I just really don't like the name, and it also doesn't fit with all the kinda dark and edgy marketing so far (ie: derren with his mouth sewn up). nothing about the ride so far screams 'family' at all to me, but if the name chronicles of london is used.. it'll sound like a kids ride.
  16. I swear if the ride is called 'chronicles of london' (which has been trademarked I think???, ill be so dissapointed. what a ****e name.
  17. can't tell if this is a joke or not but if you're being serious...where??
  18. they do overuse the zombie rednecks I must admit, was hoping to at least see the merman this year somehow :-(. oh well, overall cabin is a brilliant translation of the film into a horror maze. the fact that thorpe made the second half, on my run throughs, as chaotic and populated as the last quarter or so of the film is really really impressive. I love the film so much so I'm really really gonna miss cabin as a maze :-(.
  19. pretty sure that doesn't happen in cabin . a female actor did grab my friend and say 'fancy seeing you at the back' though, that was kinda weird
  20. I'm hoping the ride still has its own story and theme created by Merlin and that Derren just has creative input. We'll see I guess .
  21. ^perhaps but... really?? Derren Brown?? who could he possibly offend
  22. wasn't aware the actors walked around IN character, holding their makeup....
  23. ok how on earth can Derren Brown be offensive to anyone??
