This is something I am interested in attending, however if I do come I will only attend the evening part from 8pm. I can handle a full day but I'd rather do just the evening.

I have to admit I'm out of touch with the Saw films. I haven't really watched the films properly, only flicked through Saw 2 briefly and felt bored.

These days the ride is run so slowly you hardly get a good ride. And it's over no sooner than it's begun. Ripsaw seems to run like clockwork.

A week from now or a week to test?

As we know, Alton Towers are holding a press conference for The Smiler on Friday 17th May, with the speculation it will open on Saturday the 18th. With just over 5 weeks to go, let's take a look at what needs to be done: Remaining track to be installed. Electronics and ride operating system to be installed. Audio and announcements to be put in place and tested. Ride to be comissioned, tested many times, and to pass all clearances. Any remaining theming to be applied. Queueline and area to be paved or resurfaced. Queueline fencing to be erected, plus theming including speaker placement. Ride entrance to be created. Staff to be trained on ride operation, despatch proceedures etc. This is all I can think of but I'm sure there's more. But my main point is...is it possible? Half of me says yes, the other half no.

So yet again this pile of crap goes down. It's removal is long overdue IMO, and I'm sure it's not part of the investment the park are making in the next couple of years. I'll never forget when it was down for weeks in early 2005. At a time when it's 10th birthday should've been celebrated, the park had Huss on site to determine whether it was worth spending more money on it, or to rip it out. The ride is in serious need of a lick of paint. If it was ever to be removed, that section of Forbidden Kingdom would be drastically changed, and as Tomb Blaster is part of the area, a retheme would be the last thing the park would want to do.

The blasting windows effect in the barn did work last year. The 2 waving legs sticking out of the barrel did also work after being fixed, however they don't work as well as they used to. Thinking back, I don't recall seeing the snakes working in the cave. Rattlesnake is generally a good ride and still in good condition, it is starting to show it's signs of ageing.

I think I may have not explained myself properly... When I said I airguns I meant the ones after the swinging blades drop. Are these airguns? I couldn't think of a better way to describe them. However, the airgun used in the shooting gun in the queueline isn't as bad.

I really wish they'd get rid of this ride now. With 3 other water rides in the park, it's the oldest and least favourite of mine, OK I know some people still enjoy it but I don't. And yes, I am saying that I prefer Storm Surge. [/seriousness]

The Kobra shop has had t-shirts in only small and extra large for months now. I want a medium! Yet another issue they can't sort this year.

No, I'm not going to convince people. Because if you believe what you see on Loggers today is a permanent and completed change, then you're the arrogant one who needs their eyes testing. It's not a fact, just common sense which you lack. Proves your point to someone? You've proven nothing, only that you don't know what a temporary fix is. Like I said, you're one of those who wants to believe the tunnel won't be rebuilt. Well keep believing, and prepare to be disappointed.

On my ride, we boarded and waited for about 4 minutes before setting off. Seatbelts indeed.

It would appear it's birthday map was actually the 5th, I checked the press pack on the website.
