I've had a voice in the back of my head begging to make a thread for this for a while. and so I decided that I'd do it today. I'm sure, most of us here at some point in our lives have at least fantasized about working in Theme parks, doing certain roles; from dispatching rides to designing the experiences. So here's a series of questions for you. 1. At what point did you get a reality check? At what point, did you go 'nah, I want to be'....'a (insert job here) instead!'. 2. Have you guys ever had any experience in the trades? 3. Why did/n't you stop? 4. What was your dream role? I'm interested to hear what you guys have to say after I've seen a lot of people recently saying they'd love to work in the theme park industry. Go!

Or Westboro with guns. Or something. It is quite hard to explain without [TRIGGER] Furthermore the Burka rule is out of respect for the countries own religion. France is dominantly Catholic, and much like in the Middle East where religion is held in high regard, in France you have to follow their rules to be there. In the Middle East it is required that ladies wear head dresses and long dresses, so to not reveal too much hair or legs. This is out of respect, the same for France's no burka rule, in respect for their beliefs.

At an accountants forum in April I attended the main sort of head of accountants guy said that if anything was to happen to a single place in merlin the business would only be bumped thanks to their world wide, audience wide attractions. One of the reasons businesses scale across continents is for security.

Thorpe: 7 Chessington: 3 Lego: 2 Towers: 6 Drayton: 1 Adventure Island: 1 Brighton: 2 Total: 22 This year was fairly quiet, baring in mind last year I spent 17 trips alone to Thorpe! Next year, will hopefully be more interesting.

Exactly. But then again if you go in with that mindset you may be pleasantly surprised about how many people work at Chessington with a great bit of nerdy knowledge. But you can't go into it expecting everyone to know as much as you just because they work there.
