Made a video SPECIFICALLY to trigger everyone with epilepsy.

The majority of that is completely standard for every theme park you know. because of H&S laws all rides at all UK theme parks must be inspected which includes a lenghty strip down to nuts and bolts and a rebuild, being inspected at every stage. I agree, the work that's taking place is great, especially considering they're taking the time to repaint the trains which is a bit extra, but as I say the majority of things going on are just happening because they have to. Of course they're going to be excited for a new ride. It's a new ride; who isn't. But at all parks repaints take place, ride tests have probably already started, and I imagine a lot of gardening goes on. BPB isn't a special case with this, just because they've had an article written, doesn't mean anything. It is nice to hear and see the park get some much needed attention though, as much as I sometimes get repelled by the state of things here and for them then to be passed off as 'authentic' blackpool was my favourite UK park last year so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Phantasialand in general. The parks music shares melodies across all the rides which have IMA treatment, which is a very nice consistency and almost easter egg. And no, not Chiapas, Talocan definitely has the best piece they have made in terms of power. It's seriously impressive stuff and uses the chiapas 'end of the world' melody extremely well as a grand finale. A shame they haven't released a proper audio for it yet; But anyway, I've said this before, IMAscore is great. But, their music has a habit of being generic, theatrical scores that could be used on any ride anywhere. With the exceptions of rides such as the smiler and helix (and sort of Chiapas I guess, and probably a couple others) their scores could easily be used between rides and all that, and just be one score back to back because they suffer from using similar structures, techniques, rhythms and more. Really unique music for a ride that is also really cool and memorable is hard to find; I commonly get some of IMA's work muddled up with which melody goes with what, however with the likes of Chiapas, Smiler & Helix which all use themed diagetic noises amazingly, along with completely subverting traditional score techniques and structures, they're hard to forget.

I mean it's a calendar so they should be in order

Gonna split some ice here. I thought the advert looked pretty decent. Unless you guys are focusing on a single sentence throughout the advert by calling it 'desperate' I think it looked pretty spot on for selling the spruced up attraction. The same with all your comments about disappointment about bubbles. Bloody hell you guys are a wreck 'OLD BUBBLEWORKS SUCKED BECAUSE IT WASNT A PATCH ON 1990!!!111!11!!! NEW BUBBLEWORKS ISNT EVEN BUBBLEWORKS ANYMORE ITS AN IP RETHEME THATLL SUCK!!!!@?!?@!?!?! Have any of you even been on the ride yet. No? Ok then stop making opinions on it. You have complete justifications to expect things, but you don't already know it's gonna suck. Merlin have done some decent stuff recently (namely oblivion;black hole) and cebeebies land is pretty decent if we want to go on IPs, and if we want to talk about ride spruce ups also look at wallace and grommit, a truly charming ride (this was used as a reference, showing how old charming rides can be remasked and recieve good attention from a potentially dead IP? I never said it was made by merlin??) . Hurts my head when you argue all this and people don't even know who made the darn thing. Complain when you do something about it, complain when you don't.. If you're frustrated about the IP then give it a chance. There's so much to explore using bubble's hardware and the story, it could knit together nicely.

I despise marineland simply due to the fact that the drop tower ruins the view of niagra falls from one side. I may be visiting darien lake this year, and your reports are always a great read, which I'm sure will help my decision on whether or not I go.

Mr Banks was great, my mum was there like naaaaah nah nah nah nah Hanks killed it as per Rogue one was pretty dees. Bridged the old plot between 3 & 4 well, with plenty of references to all of the other films. Vader was used so brilliantly I almost think it was a shame there wasn't more of him, and blind-man-with-a-stick is my new all time fave star wars character, but dang I wish his staff turned into like a yellow lightsaber that no one had any idea about. I'm glad that the movie didn't spare the characters, it was so fantastically done and it made everything fit, all the characters were developed brilliantly (even if it was very fazed throughout the movie, it helped keep the pace up) and I think it was one of the most satisfying ends I've ever seen in a cinema, even if it left all the main protagonists dead. Ah well. I suppose it's a really really good example of how to do a prequel/sequel, the use of recovered footage and old concepts was done so well. Was a little over hyped but still a worthy movie to watch.
